I don’t think the owners had been inside this house in a very long time. Bedding was stained, dried contact lenses on tables, mold and very dirty shower curtain, sink smelled like garbage. The owner did refund us for the 2 nights that we canceled and moved to a hotel. Hopefully now they have a better cleaning team as the place has a lot of potential

perfect home base for Sonic Temple 2024. House and host were great and location was withing walking distance, 1 mile, of venue so no hasteling with parking :)

Clean and great neighborhood!

We stayed here for an OSU football game and visiting our daughter at the school. It was a great location for accessing High St and Campus. We enjoy walking and we did use ride services a couple of times at night. It's a little less than a mile to High St and about a mile to mile and half to campus, depending where you are going. The place is great! 4 bedrooms and very clean. The host is super nice and easy to communicate with. Two parking spaces are available in back plus there seemed to be on street parking in front as well. The 3 upstairs bedrooms are spacious and share a full bath. One of them does not have a bar in the closet to hang your stuff but I think they are still finishing some details in certain spaces. The 4th bedroom is in the basement and very spacious as well. We didn't need the washer and dryer but it's there for your use in the basement. The second bathroom is on the main level between the kitchen and dining room. It's tiny but it is a full bath. Great kitchen too especially if you plan to tailgate there. It has everything you need. The ice maker does not work but we just bought a bag of ice. The water is filtered at the sink so it was fine. The sorority and fraternity houses are nearby so you are in an area that is safe with lots of students but it's not noisy. Great place and would stay here again:)

I cannot recommend this property due to serious security failures and the host’s lack of response during a safety emergency.Our group rented one side of this duplex and experienced two concerning incidents within 24 hours. First, a maintenance worker entered our unit to troubleshoot an internet issue, only for us to later learn that the router was located in the adjoining unit, making access to our rental unnecessary. This raised immediate concerns about oversight and who has access to occupied units.The following evening, an unknown man entered our rental around 11:00 PM. He appeared intoxicated and had to be told multiple times to leave. As he exited, he stated that the adjoining guests had the same access code. Whether due to duplicate codes or another access-control failure, a stranger was able to enter our occupied rental without authorization.This was a significant safety breach, not a minor inconvenience. Immediately after the incident, we repeatedly attempted to contact the host and requested that the access code be changed. We received no response. VRBO was also unable to reach the host despite the seriousness of the situation. Only after escalating the matter as a safety concern were we able to cancel the remainder of our stay and receive a refund.What concerns me most is not only that these incidents occurred, but that neither the host nor property management was available to address an active safety issue.

This review contains entirely fabricated, untrue allegations. The guest attempted a last-minute free cancellation refusing all contractual penalties and invented these false safety claims to unjustly demand a full refund. We have submitted full factual evidence to VRBO support to refute every misleading detail here, and all property access and safety protocols were fully compliant throughout their stay.
