Relax with family and friends downstairs or bathe in the sun on our very spacious deck. Children love the fishing right off the deck and the crabbing is great. Great area for jet skiing. Launch near by.

You will not want to miss the sunset view. Be sure to have your camera handy. Wildlife viewing is wonderful. Spacious home, but yet private.

This beautiful, Gulf Shores home is located down Fort Morgan road and is perfect for children and just some R&R. Located on the Bay, with easy beach access. This fully-equipped home is a non-smoking house and offers lots of amenities. Private deck upstairs and downstairs you can grill, fish, crab, jet ski, boating, sailing, swimming and lounging.

Nice, Quiet Getaway!

Perfect place to stay if you love watching sunsets, fishing, kayaking and crabbing. We caught several species of fish off the dock/pier. Only 10-15 minutes away from town where there is everything to do. We had 2 families stay with 8 people total and had plenty of room. Would love to go back!!

This was our second year in a row staying at Lana's place and it never disappoints. Great time fishing and crabbing from the dock. And watching the dolphins from the upper porch and the dock play in the bay. Also just down the road from a great public beach access that is not overcrowded. It feels like our home away from home!!

Peaceful, wonderful stay

This was the most peaceful place we have ever been in many years of going to Fort Morgan. We spent many hours on the covered front porch just watching nature. The house was exactly as described. Very open and roomy. We had 7 adults and 2 teenagers and there was plenty of room. Lana was fabulous to work with. Hoping to return next year!

Fort Morgan Family Vacation

We had a fabulous time! Everything was wonderful! The 3 kayaks were a big hit with everyone! I had such fun fishing and crabbing my grandchildren and children. We caught all kinds of fish and ate fresh fish every day for lunch! The sunrises and sunsets were spectacular. The kitchen was very well equipped. The beds were comfy. Our group ranged from 9 months to 74 years. The bay was perfect for the smaller kids because it was not too deep and seldom too rough. Everything was amazing and we made so many great memories! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Definitely Relaxing on the Bay

This is a very clean home on the bay. The home has all the amenties you need to make wonderful vacation memories. The decor is clean and updated and the kitchen is moderately stocked and easy to cook in. If you are looking for quiet/relaxing and fishing you need to consider this home. The neighbors are polite but quiet and mind their own business. We caught redfish and crabs off the pier and enjoyed photographing the “resident” great blue heron. The pictures online are true so you can expect that when you arrive. This home does not provide easy beach access though. On our last day we found the public beach next to Morgantown and that was a lovely find but about 5 minutes by car from the home. 2 hours later.. I had enough sand so Happy Vacationing!

Grace and ease!

Everything about our experience with Lana and this property was easy and grace-filled. This home comfortably accommodated a all of us, it’s an easy drive to anything you need and far enough from the fray to truly relax. Sunrise and sunset from the porch are spectacular!!! We loved everything about it and look forward to staying here again.

We had the best week! The house is very nice. Beds were extremely comfortable. Had everything we needed: washer/dryer, wifi, kitchen items, etc. My sons loved being able to walk out the door and fish anytime. We saw dolphins on multiple occasions. Will definitely stay again. We love our grand children and have made wonderful memories at our home. Every year they say " this is the best vacation we ever had". :)

Why they chose this property

We area located only minutes from the Fort Morgan Ferry and Fort Morgan is a great historical attraction for the young and old. Launch your boat just minutes away and tie up to our pier. Arise early and off you go, to catch the big one, you will be in the gulf in about 15 minutes. Our grandchildren fish, swim, crab and watch dolphins off the pier for hours at a time. We catch trout, red fish, catfish, croaker and mullet. If you can throw a net you can catch your bait fish off the pier as well.

What makes this property unique

I am an early riser and will slip out on the deck upstairs and watch the sun rise with my coffee. The same can be said for our sunsets, be sure to keep your camera handy at all times, you never know what you will see, we have had geese in our back yard, pelicans lay eggs on the pier, pelicans sitting side by side, dolphins swimming under our pier and within yards of our children swimming. Be sure to check out the Beach Club across the street, we walk. They have food trucks, restaurants, games for the kids, great gift shop and music every night during summer and early fall.
