Why they chose this property

This vacation home has been in the family since 1945 and is the source of many happy family memories. In order to sustain this home as a family retreat we are opening it to share.

What makes this property unique

In the heat of the summer, the breezes off the water keep the air temperatures 10°F or more cooler than the ambient air temperature further in-land.
Sunrises on the bay tend to be spectacular! Storms moving up the bay provide visual drama that cannot be seen in-land. Occasionally we will have a Bald Eagle or two visit one of the trees early in the morning (and they are extremely skittish about people moving around), but in the summer daytime Ospreys dominate the sky here.
