5 Star Luxury Exec Family Home - Covered Hot-Tub, Walk to Village & Ski Lift/AC

This luxury home is located in the Exclusive Big Springs area of Northstar. Can walk down road to the "Home Run" ski-lift which take you up to the Mt and Ritz. It also comes with free shuttle service to the Village and access to the Homeowner's Recreation Center's pool, fitness equipment, game area and courts. This home has an airy spacious feel with many windows and good sun. The house is very clean and is in excellent condition with all new appliances. The extra large covered hot-tub is fun for all after the daily adventure.

It is the perfect family and friends mountain year around getaway. Come enjoy the woodsy setting and contemporary mountain decor. When there is enough snow, you can also ski the fire road home from the 'Home Run' trail.

You can snow-shoe or hike up to the Ritz for lunch and a hot-chocolate. You are sure to enjoy this wonderful mountain home. Walk down to the village for ice-skating, the Northstar Rec Center Arcade or a meal.

The playroom includes a kids play area and numerous games and toys. Extra kids skis and boots are in the garage to use freely, as well as the snowshoes and sleds.

Summer items include umbrellas, towels, rafts, kayaks, SUP, crawdad fishing lines, buckets etc.

The house itself was wonderful-clean, well stocked, extremely comfortable for a family. The hosts were fantastic. We were due to arrive on a very snowy day. The hosts were in touch about our arrival, were concerned that we were able to get up their driveway, and personally plowed the driveway so that we would have no trouble getting into the house. They went above and beyond with their thoughtfulness. We would stay again without hesitation!

Great house with lots of space. Loved the huge tv and plenty of kitchen supplies for a group. The property needs some maintenance for it to be rented at that price point. Upstairs master shower didn't drain. Dishwasher needs to be leveled so racks don't roll out at you. Light bulb needs to be changed under cabinet at microwave. Light bulb needs to be changed in upstairs master bath. Fan doesn't work in shared upstairs bathroom.

North Star home gets a gold star

Amazing Summer Stay in Northstar

We had such an incredible time at this Northstar home. It has everything you need for summer fun - SUPs and bikes and water toys. The pool is quite nice, and we've stayed in most of the HOAs with pools in the area--this was our favorite. The home itself was perfect for a family with teens who enjoyed the separate upstairs den while we could relax on the deck or the other living room area. Easy walk to the village with food options and roller skating. Or an easy 15 minute drive into Kings Beach at lake tahoe or Truckee. For us, with friends in the area, the central location was key. I hope we can come back soon!

Great place for families

We were a group of friends with kids and this place was perfect. Spacious, very well-equipped, and close to the Highlands gondola plus free on-demand shuttle to the village that picks you up at the house. Communication with the host was great, though staying here over MLK, it wasn’t possible to get a minor technical issue in the kitchen resolved promptly — but that wasn’t a huge issue. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay here very much!

It is hard to find any faults with this property. It was perfect for two families on a ski vacation. The kitchen was excellent and has everything for cooking large meals for a crowd.

Why they chose this property

Newer and higher-end home near lifts. Can walk down to the village and on a good snow day, ski down to homerun lift. Northstar is a destination resort for all seasons with snow sports in the winter and great hiking and Mt. biking the rest of the year.

What makes this property unique

This is a family home and has great play areas for the kids, as well as toys and games for the entire family.

We have sleds, snow-shoes, toys, books, games etc for the kids since we have 4 kids, now ages 12-19, who spent a lot of time there since they were 5.
