Tahoe Mountain Retreat

Retreat to this wonderful lakeview home with breathtaking panoramic views!

Enjoy relaxed living on a bluff above Lake Tahoe. Nestled in a hollow out of the prevailing wind, every room in this home looks out over the lake, with views across Crystal Bay Point and along the beautiful east shore. Be amazed by every mood the lake has to show, from the sun line rising on the Eastern Sierra to spectacular full moon nights which can be enjoyed from the private hot tub on the deck. Each room is tastefully decorated and the beds have high thread count linens, down comforters, and lots of soft pillows.

Our open floor plan has a master suite with queen bed upstairs off the living room/great room. The remaining bedrooms (second master suite with queen bed, and two queen bedrooms) are downstairs off the family room. We have a wonderful wood stove in the family room that heats the whole house and firewood is provided. The attached apartment has 1 queen bed in the bedroom with interior access to the apartment from the main house, as well as from the garage.

With 3500 sq. ft. of total living space there is room for everyone. There's a two car garage and plenty of off street parking. Enjoy High Speed Internet/Wi-Fi and Cable TV through out the home. We are located just one block from the lake, close to ski areas and casinos, Garwoods and 7-Eleven are just down the road.

We had the MOST wonderful time at this extremely spacious cabin and well-stocked kitchen. The owner always replied promptly to every question and the whole process was seamless. The views from the hot tub and EVERY bedroom was spectacular. We couldn't have had a better time (except if there had actually been snow!) Ha! I highly recommend this cabin and look forward to coming back again!

What an amazing house! This was honestly one of the best rentals we’ve ever had. Our family gathered for a family reunion, and this beautiful home had every amenity possible. It was spacious, clean, well equipped, comfortable, and to top it off, it had one of the most amazing views of Lake Tahoe we’ve ever seen. The hosts were communicative, very kind, and responsive. Very impressive home with awesome views of Lake Tahoe from almost every window. Our 20 year old twin granddaughters enjoyed the hot tub with a beautiful setting. The kitchen was well supplied with everything you could need. It was a three story house so had lots of stairs. The owners are lovely people!

Great cabin for large family gathering. We were looking for views and comfort, not fancy. We had 9 adults with plenty of room to spread out. Views are incredible and hot tub on deck that is ready for use was a welcome bonus. Bear sighting was exciting but also a reminder to be careful. Location was great for excursions to incline area one day and Sugar Pine Point State Park the other. Be sure to bring your own staples such as coffee and allow time to complete departure check list such as running and emptying dishwasher.

Incredible views

This cabin is well stocked and the view is unbelievable. It accommodated two families comfortably. We will 100% stay here again in the future. The location is perfect (super close to Garwoods, easy access to Kings Beach and Tahoe City.) I have never stayed in a cabin with a more breathtaking and expansive view from almost every room and of course from the large back deck where we spent most of our time.

Another wonderful stay at this beautiful Carnelian Bay home

This is our second stay at this property and it was just as wonderful as our first time. The accommodations were perfect for our extended ski weekend with our family. We had a comfortable stay with an outstanding view of the lake. The owners were quickly responsive to any questions we had and we will likely come back again in the future!

We were very lucky to find Tahoe at a young age. We fell in love and were married, raised three kids who now have pursued careers outside of the Tahoe basin. While we have loved this home and lived in this home we have found that it is time to share it with others. You will find our place to be a comfortable, quiet space, perched on a bluff away from the prevailing winds. Be sure to watch the sunline rise on the eastern Sierra opposite us until evening arrives. Our home has hosted many family gatherings so we know that whatever your event is you will be comfortable and cozy, together but not crowded,
