Wrap yourself in history in this fabulous fully-restored cottage. The cottage is one of five houses within a charming compound built by Sir Robert Southwell in 1682 as Alms Houses for the widows of Protestant tradesmen.
The cottage offers a fully-fitted country-style kitchen with a small dining table. Original beams abound and the living room has a cosy nook with a sofa bed which may be used as a double sofa bed if required.
Upstairs offers a queen-sized bed, built in cabinetry and double oak plank doors lead to the bathroom with walk-in shower.
There is a communal garden to enjoy and all within a few minutes walk to the centre of town with its fabulous restaurants and many historic attractions.
