Best Dog Friendly Beach House in Oak Island

We had a fantastic stay at Island Time! The house was exactly as described, right across the street from the beach and best of all dog friendly so the whole family was able to enjoy the beach weekend! The hosts are extremely friendly, very responsive and genuinely want you to have a perfect weekend. We will definitely be back!

Adorable beach cottage!

Quaint, historic cottage. Very close to beach access, includes plenty of necessities and little extras. My kids loved all the games and toys! The owners were very responsive and helpful

We are from Charlotte, North Carolina. Jackie’s childhood vacation home was on Ocean Isle where her family spent their summers. We fell in love with Oak Island, and it became a dream to have a home here one day, and we are thrilled to be able to share our little beach cottage with others!

Why they chose this property

We love the laid-back quiet lifestyle on Oak Island. It’s a relaxed, low-key Island vibe.

What makes this property unique

Our home was one of the first homes built as the island recovered from the devastation of hurricane Hazel in 1954. Our home, as others were, was constructed in part with remnants from the hurricane. Our home still contains the vintage charm of yesteryear, but has thoughtful updates for comfort.
