The Painted Turtle is a very good OIB rental home. Very clean, plenty of room for 5 of us, nice Kitchen, BRs and Baths. The 5min walk (1.5 block) to beach access is the best feature of this 2nd row VRBO. Would stay here again.

The location of the house was perfect! Everything was so clean and modern. The beds were super comfortable and offered plenty of space for all of us. Oak Island is a wonderful beach and your only steps away. Would stay again in heartbeat.

I called a week before our stay and asked if there was a grill at the property. Because we were told it wasn’t listed, and the matter wasn’t looked in to, we bought a griddle and brought it from Ohio. After we arrived, we found TWO grills and wished we had known.
