Tucked in the North Georgia mountains, Autumn’s Hollow is a cozy one-story cabin designed for one or two couples. With two queen bedrooms, two baths, and a split-floor plan, it offers both privacy and comfort. Cancellations, rescheduling, or changes must be made in writing and confirmed by Sliding Rock Cabins® at least 31 days before your original check-in date. You will receive a refund minus a $65 cancellation fee.

Within 31 Days of Check-In:
Any changes, cancellations, or rescheduling requests made within 31 days of your check-in date will result in forfeiture of all money paid. Payments are non-transferable to a different date.
If We Rebook Your Dates:
If we can rebook your cancelled dates with another guest, we will refund you for the portion we are able to rebook.

There were fire bans when we were there so we didn’t get to enjoy outdoor fires and wasn’t as close to the water as we was expecting to do fishing from lake sitting area but these were out of Sliding Rock Rentas control

Great stay

We were so pleased to see the cabin and surroundings . Great comfort from the living area to the bedrooms. All in our party were well pleased. The only complaint was the refrigerator; we did everything in the checking book but the refrigerator never worked properly. Hopefully it won’t take much to fix it. Thanks for a fun weekend.

Reviewer Comments: The cabin was beautiful we had a wonderful time two things I would suggest the wood for the fire place keep it in an area so it is covered and not wet and the hot tub for some reason the temperature was 86 degrees when we got there on Saturday afternoon so we were unable to use the hot tub Saturday evening.

Being able to bring our dogs with us to this cabin made this vacation the most relaxing vacation yet! The cabin was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Our dogs loved lounging on the deck and we loved the peace and quiet.

The cabin was very welcoming and extremely comfortable. The coffee bar was a great touch. I loved that there were dog treats and everything we could need for our pup. Do keep in mind it is pretty steep terrain so walking your dog can be alittle tricky. We did experience an earthquake which was a first!! The cabin shook like crazy but all was well. I would definitely recommend Autumn’s Hollow. The management company was amazing. Their communication was spot on.

Nice house, easy access but too close to the road

We really enjoyed our stay. We wish we had brought our dog, as it is very dog-friendly. But just a few things to be aware of... There are VERY limited supplies... a single roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, sparse kitchen supplies (only salt and pepper), and one set of towels. They do spell this out in the instructions and separate 7-page rental agreement. They have some VERY verbose guidelines for the property that feel a bit over the top. We picked this location because it didn't require a long drive on a bad gravel road, but that trade-off is you can hear the cars from the road that is less than 50 yards from the back of the house. There is another rental house a stone's throw away, and the sound really travels. The only other thing was the ridiculous service fee. It was as much as the rental, so I felt like they priced the listing cheaper, but it really wasn't. We think these are all personal preferences, so we were not going to ding them for that, except for the service fee. A $250 service fee for a 2-night stay is just over the top...3 times as much as comparable listings. Property management was very nice, there was great communication, and there were no issues with anything in the house...aside from a hair in the freezer. If those aren't issues for you, this is a great place. We wouldn't rent this specific house again, but that is just us and I don't want to rate a place below what it deserves just because it was not exactly what we was looking for.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin was clean and well stocked. The layout is perfect for 2 couples as there are 2 bedrooms- each with its own bath on either side of the living room on one level. We enjoyed having access to Netflix & Prime to watch movies. Our fur baby enjoyed lounging on the deck just off the living room. Blue Ridge or Ellijay is about a 20 minute ride either way from the cabin which is nice. We enjoyed the Blue Swan Drive In movies and Taccoa Riverside restaurant in Blue Ridge( the trout was delicious!)I do feel I have to mention that we have stayed at a Sliding Rock cabin at least 6 times in the past & this cabin was my least favorite for a couple of reasons. While it is easy to find, it’s also right off a main highway & therefore you can hear traffic noise from the cabin. It’s also very close to several other cabins that are accessed by a road that runs directly behind the cabin. We have never been so close to another cabin before! The fire pit behind the cabin sits right on this road & is about 50 feet from the neighbor cabin’s driveway. Also, the description of the cabin mentions that you are located above a lake. You are above a body of water but I wouldn’t call it a lake! It’s a very narrow waterway with brown murky water that doesn’t flow & therefore you can’t hear water flowing from the cabin if that’s important to you. It’s also not very accessible- there are 2 sets of steep stairs leading to the deck above the water so I wouldn’t recommend this unless you are sure footed. Also of note is that the driveway is very steep so a 4 wheel drive vehicle is recommended. You can park down by the fire pit but you have to go up a steep set of stairs to get to the front door of the cabin.

Reviewer Comments: We had a nice family getaway, my children (8 and 6 years old) were happy. The cabin is very comfortable, the view is also very relaxing. Overall everything was fine except there were some pet hairs and my kids crawled on the floor and got it on them. We also wanted to use one of the coffee makers and they were full of mold. The can opener is already very rusty, you just have to pay attention to those small details. And at the time of checkout we felt a little pressured and watched because a suv arrived (I suppose they are the ones who do the cleaning and inspection), we believe that they must wait until 10 am for them to arrive. Thank you!

The cabin was amazing, the weather was nice the whole time and was super comfortable, and that porch was probably our favorite thing about the house. Wish there was a bit more view from it but overall absolutely amazing. Wish we were there when it was cold enough for a fire and to use the hot tub!! We will absolutely be back with our dogs!
