The space Six log cabins dating from the 1780’s through 1840 were purchased, dismantled and transported to Lake Rabun. The cabins came from TN, NC, KY and VA and each structure has its own truly fascinating history. Virtually all of the materials used are recycled from various old structures gathered from several southern states. Many hours were spent searching for suitable doors, windows, flooring and so forth. Three cabins were combined to create the main lodge, one cabin serves as our glamping studio, one as a potting shed and one as a garage.
The main lodge features a comfortable kitchen, a large dining room, 2 bedrooms and sleeping loft, a gorgeous stacked stone fireplace, an entertaining screened porch & many unique features to keep you delighted! The master bedroom opens through french doors onto the screened porch. The guest room boasts a queen bed and vaulted ceiling. In the loft, there is a double bed and two twin beds.
For the adventurous sleeper, a light-drenched detached "studio" cabin with a queen bed that can be enjoyed during the warmer weather months. Though accessible year round, it is not recommended for sleeping when the temperatures drop.
There are 2 full bathrooms and one half bathroom inside the main house, the studio cabin has a sink.
The grounds are beautiful with native flora and gorgeous stacked stone walls, the property centers around a wonderful outdoor stone fireplace perfect for toasting s'mores and enjoying an evening under the stars!
Access to Lake Rabun is just across the street at Hall's Boathouse - probably less than a 3 minute walk. Hall’s is not a swimming area, but it is a great place to put in your own boat, canoe, kayak or rent a boat from Hall's. Drive to nearby Lake Rabun Beach for a swimming area and another boat ramp.

The property is welcoming to pets, has a large fenced in yard and beautiful outdoor spaces for lounging and hanging out. The cabins are rustic but well appointed and comfortable. It is a short walk to restaurants and a boathouse and a close drive to hikes and fun towns to visit. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.
Wonderful weekend at this unique property! Outdoor space is so enjoyable and location is great. Host was very accessible and a great communicator. Perfect for traveling with your dog due to large, fenced in yard.
We loved this place. They reconstructed 6 log cabins on site to create a gorgeous setting! Three were connected to make the main house, one is the garage and two others are out buildings. Fire pit was a fun place to hang out!
First and foremost, the pictures DO NOT do this cabin justice. This cabin is beautiful. It has more space for family to relax and enjoy the area. The fenced in yard was great for our dog. The outside fireplace was very inviting. We loved being able to walk to Lake Rabun Inn for some cocktails at night. It was quiet. It was clean. the master was perfect to watch the sunrise. We loved it. Thank you Sam for the beautiful experience.
