Welcome to Destin Stella Marina, a beautifully appointed , Pet and Kids friendly, beach condo designed to offer peace, comfort, and convenience in one of the most sought-after locations—Maravilla, along Scenic Gulf Drive in Miramar Beach, Florida.
Now under new management, our goal is to provide a more personalized and memorable experience for every guest.
This spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bath condo offers stunning views of the crystal-clear Gulf waters and comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests—ideal for extended families, three couples, or groups with children. Pet-friendly with prior owner approval , check Pet Policy below.
Located on the 4th (top) floor of Building 1, close to both stairs and the elevator, you’re just a short walk from the front pool and beach access. Features include tile flooring throughout, granite kitchen countertops, and modern amenities to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
Sleeping Arrangements (Sleeps 8):
* Master Bedroom: King bed, private bath, and balcony access
* Guest Bedroom 1: King bed with direct access to full bathroom
* Guest Bedroom 2: Twin bunk beds and access to shared hallway bath
* Living Room: Queen sofa bed with a plush 8.5" mattress
All bedrooms and the living room feature flat-screen TVs, with a 65” TV and DVD player in the living area. High-speed Wi-Fi is included throughout.
The fully equipped kitchen includes granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, crockpot, dishwasher, and everything you need for a relaxing meal at home. For added convenience and fun, we’ve included board games, beach toys, a small cooler, and a stackable washer and dryer.
Beach Service Included:
Enjoy two chairs and one umbrella, available from mid-March through late October (weather permitting), with helpful beach attendants ready to assist you. We also provide beach towels and hair dryers so you can pack light.
At Stella Marina, we want you to vacation like a local with the comfort of locals as your guides. Guests must be 25 or older to book. Parties are not permitted.

A gated community with 2.5 acres of private sugar-white beaches, two swimming pools (one heated seasonally), hot tub, fitness center, basketball, tennis/pickleball courts, and BBQ grilling areas. Convenient access from both Highway 98 and Scenic Gulf Drive makes travel easy.

Pet Policy – Maravilla Unit 1408

Does Maravilla 1408 Accept All Dogs?
Maravilla 1408 welcomes well-behaved, house-trained dogs that meet the following requirements:
* Up to 2 dogs per reservation
* Dogs must be 40 lbs or under
* Advance approval is required prior to booking
* Dogs must not belong to a prohibited breed or mix, regardless of behavior
While not all Maravilla units allow pets, Unit 1408 invites you to inquire about bringing your furry companion.

Are Dogs Allowed at Maravilla Resort?
Yes! Maravilla Resort is recognized as a pet-friendly community. However, not all units allow pets, and certain dog breeds are strictly prohibited, regardless of size, weight, or temperament.
Pet owners must:
* Prevent excessive barking or disturbance
* Keep dogs on a leash in outdoor areas
* Pick up and dispose of pet waste immediately
Important: A $125 fine may be issued by the HOA for failure to clean up after your dog. Waste must be disposed of in designated areas near the dumpsters — not in grassy common areas.
Dogs are not allowed in the fenced pool area, per HOA regulations.

Why Are Certain Dog Breeds Prohibited?
Breed restrictions are enforced due to HOA rules, insurance liability, and guest safety considerations. We strongly encourage owners of restricted breeds to arrange pet care with a sitter or licensed boarding facility prior to arrival. These rules are strictly enforced by resort security.

Prohibited Dog Breeds
The following breeds — or any mix thereof — are not permitted at Maravilla Resort:
* Akita, Anatolian Shepherd, Belgian Malinois, Boxer, Bull Terrier, Bullmastiff, Chow
* Doberman Pinscher, German Shepherd, Giant Schnauzer, Mastiff, Neapolitan Mastiff, Ovcharka
* Pit Bull (including American Bully), Pit Bull Terrier, Presa Canario, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Rottweiler
* Siberian Husky, Staffordshire Bull Terrier (American), Wolf or Wolf Hybrids
If you are unsure of your dog’s breed, consult your veterinarian and check with the property manager before booking.

Are There Any Pet Fees?
There is no additional pet fee for approved dogs at Maravilla 1408. However, guests are financially responsible for any:
* Excessive shedding or pet-related messes
* Damage to the unit or furnishings
Extra cleaning or repairs will be billed as needed.

Requirements for Bringing a Dog
Guests must provide the following:
* Pet’s name, breed, age, and general information
* Proof of current vaccinations as required by Florida law
* Assurance that the dog is:
* Free from fleas or communicable infections
* Clean and well-groomed
* House-trained
* Socialized, obedient, and has no history of biting
Guests must also:
* Prevent barking, chasing, or aggressive behavior
* Abide by all property rules, including leash laws and waste disposal
* Accept liability for any damages or disturbances

What Should I Bring for My Pet?
To ensure your dog’s comfort and to maintain the unit’s cleanliness, please bring:
* Leash, waste bags, and cleaning supplies
* Bedding, crate, or carrier (especially if pet is left unattended)
* Food, water, toys, and any necessary items
* A sheet or blanket if your dog will be on furniture or linens
* Towels or wipes for muddy paws or wet fur
Ensure your dog is dry and clean before re-entering the condo. Accidents must be cleaned up immediately — especially on rugs.
Please remove all pet hair, sand, and waste before departure to avoid extra cleaning charges.

Are Dogs Allowed in Restaurants?
Service animals are permitted in all public areas. For pets, some restaurants in the area allow leashed dogs on outdoor patios or decks. Call ahead, as policies vary by location and may be subject to season or time of day.

Can Dogs Go on the Beach?
No. Local beaches do not permit visiting dogs at any time.
* Walton County issues $500 fines for violations
* Dog beach licenses are only available to permanent Florida residents, with limited beach access hours
* The City of Destin maintains a 3-acre dog park with areas for small and large dogs

Unsure About Your Dog’s Breed?
Ask your veterinarian for breed documentation. Most vets provide ID paperwork listing breed, color, and size. If there is any doubt your pet may fall under the restricted list, we recommend finding alternate pet care.
Resort security actively enforces HOA pet rules.

Pets Not Permitted Under Any Circumstances

* Wild, exotic, or aggressive animals
* Poisonous or non-poisonous reptiles
* Any dog on the restricted breed list
* Any dog with a bite history or aggressive behavior
