Custom built 3 bed 3.5 bath home with fantastic ocean & marsh views
Welcome to Serenity by the Sea where you will have gorgeous ocean and sunset views from the spacious living area and front/back porches. A chef-style kitchen with all the amenities, upgraded appliances, oven with air fryer, and Keurig with pod/carafe. Cut down on laundry time with a full size Speed Queen washer and dryer. The master bedroom has a king bed, pull out trundle, and double vanity with large shower. Upstairs hosts two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with 2 bunk beds, each with its own private bathrooms.
In addition, there is a work from home area with ocean views and a large child play area. Smart TVs available in each room with streaming apps. Parking available for 4 cars.
A quick walk to the beach ramp and you will be on a private quiet area of Holden beach! Or take a quick drive 5-minute drive over to the park, pickleball/tennis courts, basketball, bike rental, coffee shop and slushie/ice cream as well as the island's 3 restaurants.
A Beach wheelchair and walker can be borrowed on the island. Please inquire as to how and reach out with any other accessibility questions.
In addition, there is a work from home area with ocean views and a large child play area. Smart TVs available in each room with streaming apps. Parking available for 4 cars.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Replace all kitchen, utensils, and plates from dishwasher into cabinet. Wipe down all counters and sweep floors of debris.
Remove all trash and debris from all trash cans and deposit in receptacle underneath house. Please receptacle at side of street. Remove all food from refrigerator and laundry from washer/dryer.
Lock all windows and doors and replace any cushions from back patio into container. Set air conditioner to 76° in the summer 65° in the winter.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
If more than 8 people are in the house there will be an additional $500 per guest applied to the rental.
No pet/emotional support animals allowed. If rule broken, stay will be terminated and $500 sanitation fee due by renter.
If damage is done to the property renter will be fined for all charges for all damages submitted to VRBO

We are a family of 4 with a special little guy that has extra needs and loves the beach. It became harder to travel with him so we built our home to accommodate him and other families like ours (as well as those with aging parents!). With the rental income we give away trips to families who can't afford vacations to the beach due to the cost of their medical care.
Why they chose this property
We built this house so that all types of people and families can come enjoy the beach. We make things as easy as possible so that everyone can relax and enjoy the vacation. Our area of beach is private and quiet, yet just minutes away from the island park, bike rentals, coffee, and restaurants on the island. We hope that you can enjoy some fun in the sun and will enjoy the laid back lifestyle that Holden Beach offers. It's a true gem.
What makes this property unique
Marsh and intercoastal waterway view from the back patio offer amazing sunset views. Our area of beach serves less houses so more private than other areas.
