Beautifully decorated 3 bedroom, 2 bath home available in Sister Lakes, Michigan for up to 6 people. Only steps from Magician Lake, public access and a great way to visit with friends or family in the area. Very close to downtown Dowagiac and a 30-minute drive to St. Joseph. You will always find great local restaurants, drinking establishments, or simply just enjoy lake life. Enjoy your family and friends by relaxing in the cozy home with a book, watching television, surfing the web, or hang out in the inviting and spacious family room with gas fireplace in the winter or be outdoors enjoying the lake in the summer. Come back from a long day at the lake to newly installed central air, heat, and on-sight washer and dryer for your comfort and convenience. The main bedroom has a Queen bed, the 2nd bedroom a queen and a twin, and finally the 3rd bedroom furnished with a bunk bed, twin over full. Bedroom pillows, linen and bath towels are provided. Excess waste and laundered items may incur additional fees. Love to cook? The open kitchen with new appliances has the cookware, dinnerware and utensils, toaster, and coffee brewing items needed to prepare and eat a meal. Water dispenser provided and filtered kitchen sink faucet as the residence is on well water. Not into kitchen cooking? You also have an outdoor propane gas grill at your disposal with grill accessories. Great location and just steps from Magician Lake. Depending on the day the lake can be a fantastic viewing area for sunsets! Magician Lake Access through Rainbow Park. Minimum 3 night stay during the late spring, summer season, available now for 2025.

Quiet and serene, this house met all of our needs. Good location for shopping and restaurants, a little off the beaten path so it’s ideal for relaxing and unwinding.

We had a wonderful stay in this house. We came for one week in July with three teens. The house itself is fully equipped, spacious, and very clean and comfortable. The hosts are gracious and responsive. The location is peaceful and beautiful. I definitely recommend.

Great place to spread out and rest up for tournament play.

Comfortable stay for family

The layout and accommodations were perfect for our family. The young kids especially loved all the lil kid elements that made it feel special (small table and chairs, play kitchen, lots of toys). They also lived panting in the sand at the park a short walk away. The adults loved the open and easy flow, updated master bath, and hosting touches.

I travelled with my husband, my three children (ages 6, 3, and 1), and my parents for a wedding nearby. We all had a great time! The home had everything we needed (except shampoo & conditioner, but thankfully we brought some) and we really appreciated the toys for the kids! The home was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was safe and we enjoyed walking around. We also walked to a nearby rescue farm / petting zoo which was a sweet surprise especially for the kids.

Great, Family Friendly Spot!

We had a great short stay here to attend a family reunion on Dewey Lake. Place was super spacious, clean, and had all the amenities you would need. I also loved how family friendly it was. They have tons of toys and games and Disney+ was included on the tv. It was extremely helpful to also have a pack and play available! We will definitely keep this place in mind again when we visit Michigan in the future. Thanks for everything!

Perfect house, had everything

Perfect, very clean house for me and my 2 teenagers. The house is fully stocked. I probably didn’t need to bring most of what I packed (coffee/sugar, laundry detergent etc). Beds were very comfortable. The only small thing was I couldn’t start the grill. 😕.

Michigan Getaway

We had a lovely time. The home was very clean. The master bath was impressive! Cleaning people need to get under beds better, and when I stripped my bed before we left, I found a small vial of eye drops in the bedding. Wondered how it got there, since it wasn't mine....looked like a prescription. Plenty of dishes and silverware. They even had things in the refrigerator we could have used it we needed them. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect spot to enjoy sisters lakes

Truly, this cottage was such a perfect spot for our family vacation! It was just a 3-5 minute walk to the beach, swimming spot, and pier which was enabled our kids to spend the whole day int the water while we just hopped back and forth to grab some more food. The swimming spot required a few steps into the water and was about 2 feet deep to start which was still low enough for my two year old to stand in and play. The cottage was clean, welcoming, charming, and stocked with the essentials and then a little more. We really appreciated all the kids stuff which made the kids enjoy the moments in between all the lake play! We’d definitely return.

When we got there they had obviously been doing some work to the home. The plaster ceiling was falling down in multiple rooms that I had to sweep up. The outdoor trash can had not been emptied and smelled so bad I had to move around back of house. The water smelled like rotten eggs - may need to change rod in water heater. Other than that it served its purpose.

Short weekend stay

The house was comfy for our needs. Just wanted to decompress for a few days. For future renters the house is about 2-3 min walk around the corner and there is a small private beach area that you can access. Picnic tables and big shade trees are around so no need for beach umbrellas and you can drive there as there are public parking spots if you have coolers chairs etc. Steps with railing helps you walk into the shallow part of the lake and people just float around in this area and you can walk to the diving platform as the water isn’t deep. Water was so nice and there is a little bit of sandy beach which is more like a sandbox. Ray had all kinds of condiments; drip coffee maker with coffee & filters. They have water cooler for more filtered water but we brought our own water etc. Ceiling fans in 2 of the bedrooms. Nice updated master bath. I would recommend staying here and my friends said they’d bring their families back for a long weekend. Nice covered porch to drink your morning coffee.
