For the surfing enthusiasts out there, Makaha Beach is just a 10-minute drive from our rental and offers epic waves that attract surfers from all over the globe. But even if you're not into surfing, Makaha Beach is still worth a visit. Take a leisurely stroll along the pristine shoreline and soak up the stunning views of the turquoise waters and the towering mountains. Or, grab your snorkeling gear and explore the coral reefs and marine life just off the coast.
Pokai Bay, one of the best snorkeling spots on the west side of Oahu, is also just a short distance away from our rental. And if you're looking for a thrilling hike, the nearby trails offer breathtaking views of the ocean and mountains.

Adriana supplied so, so much information to us on happenings in the area, giving us many options for sightseeing, beaches, etc. which was MUCH appreciated!
The house was comfortable and clean. and we literally had ocean views out the front door and mountains at the back. Loved watching the little geckos running in the yard.
We were there from December 23, 2024 through January 2, 2025.The house is very nice, as well as the yard. It is in a good location, right off of a highway, close to beaches. Adriana was very pleasant to converse with and got back to me quickly with answers to questions I had. She also sent a long email with things to do around the area, including her favorite spots. The house was very well stocked which was appreciated. We would definitely stay again.

Really enjoyed our time away at this property. The garden & chickens were a favorite of our nephew. The location is conveniently located to amenities on the west side of the island. The kitchen had everything we needed. The amount of books & toys available were amazing and the availability of beach chairs, towels, beach toys, and snorkeling gear were also great. We even got to enjoy neighborhood fireworks. We were quite comfortable and happy with our time here and would recommend. Our host was always available and easy to reach for any needs. Our only disappointment was that we did not spend more time out on the front patio/deck area.

The property was located on the Waianae Coast. The neighborhood is old but definite signs of improvement underway in the community. The house interior is charming, well kept and very clean; and met our needs during the stay. Our grandson always wanted to eat breakfast on the porch as he put it “to see and smell the ocean”. Beaches are beautiful! Family went everyday to the beach. House had beach needs…chairs, toys, towels and sunscreen. When on the property, we relaxed and enjoyed the constant cool breeze that flowed throughout the house. The house is surrounded by natural beauty.

Stayed here with 6 people for 3 weeks. 2 of us were working and the other 4 were strictly vacationing. This was a great place for us to gather, sleep, plan, and otherwise spend our downtime together. Having everything fully stocked was a very nice touch. Kitchen, bathrooms, beach supplies, everything you need for your time on the island. Adriana has thought of it all. The secured, private parking is a big plus. We spent a good amount of time around the fire pit as a group. My partner and I enjoyed sitting on the porch together while watching/listening to the waves. This property is not in a touristy part of the island. Do not expect Mai Tais served to you at your beach lounger. For us, this property was a great value and an awesome place to plan our daily adventures.

location and other issues
the location wasn't that great. unit was very clean and comfortable. the unit has structural issues due to settling.
damage to walls and floor. i am a building contractor with 40 yrs experience so the repair should be done as soon as possible. any more separation to the walls and floor will cause major damage. the north side of the unit needs to be shored up with minimal cost before it becomes a major cost to the owner.
