Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect for us as we love walking to Forsyth Park, restaurants, the river and historic sections. We left the car at the parking spot the entire time! The home was beautiful and very comfortable! Would certainly stay again!

Excellent location / beautiful property

Perfect location to explore Savannah on foot. Retail shopping was less than 35 feet away. Directly across the street from Mrs Wilkes. Walked to Forsyth Park fountain and Clarys in less than 5 minutes. Behind the building parking and back entrance was an added bonus.

Pros - Good location for walking to various squares and restaurants. Nice to have a parking space. Comfortable bed, sofa and decent bathroom. Well equipped kitchen. Access through front entrance is easier and less steep than rear. Cons - Advertised as having a "Private Terrace" - no, it does not. The people above access the stairs to get up and down and smoke at the foot of our stairs so no privacy. Only One robe - seriously? Very thin walls and ceiling - everything - EVERYTHING - can be heard from the suite above. If you are a light sleeper, this is not the place for you. Also, the streaming service is non-existent. Cleaning service should do "last look" prior to check ins as dead palmetto bugs were on the floor in dining and kitchen. Being from Charleston, we were not freaked out by these, but others may be. Would we stay here again? No. Would we book with this company again? Probably not. Priced too high for amount of "Cons".

The terrace with the sofa, chairs and table for 6 was wonderful for early morning coffee, or evening drinks. The church bells and view of roof tops even provides a 'Paris-like' experience. Thoroughly enjoyed our 10 days here, even with the Savannah stairs. Great location, just on the edge of the historic area and with off street parking!

There are some fabulous restaurants here in Savannah too and we were able to walk to all of them - super convenient. The private parking space is so good too - we only needed to use the car once to get to Bonaventure Cemetary - so the parking was much appreciatedOverall, we enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in this area.

Location! Location! And a parking spot!

Very special place, right across from Ms. Wilkes restaurant. Included parking spot was a must, as we were traveling with long Sprinter Van, and were concerned with having to locate an on street nearby location. The unit is beautifully decorated, with extra details (robes and extra toiletries if you forgot a toothbrush or razor.) Only surprise was the 4th floor unit above us was getting restored during our visit. The workers started around 9 am to 4 pm most days, when we were away sight seeing. I am grateful that people have invested in restoring Savannah! Check out the Mercer House tour to appreciate that also.

There are two sets of stairs required to access the unit both from the front (one exterior and one interior) and from the back parking area (both exterior). Carrying luggage up the stairs might be difficult for some. We were in need of a few items upon check-in, but the property manager responded quickly with what we needed. We were very satisfied and would stay here again.

Great kitchen and outside area all to ourselves plus a parking spot. The only negative I have is the amount of times I was emailed and asked the same question multiple times. Also there are steps outside of the front door not very wide, and then we stayed in the Spanish moss 3rd floor. There were 2 staircases inside pretty narrow and also very scary and high metal steps coming into the house. The ac also wasn’t programmed but they sent someone right away to fix it. The girl on the phone was pretty short with me and kinda rude. Bring sneakers.

The location was great for walking to various restaurants and wandering the historic district. I felt like we were in the nicest, calmest part of the district. Noise was never an issue, but we appeared to be the only guests in the entire building for most of our stay. While searching for places to stay I had read many complaints about noise, i.e. partiers, traffic, etc. But, this neighborhood seemed very quiet. By 10 pm there was very little traffic. TBH, by 7 am the traffic picks up, street cleaner one morning, leaf blowers another morning, etc, so you won't be sleeping much past 7:00 or 7:30 am.However, bed was comfortable and we slept well until then.All in all, a very nice place to stay to see and do Savannah.Oh, and a free parking space. Very helpful.

And the property itself is spotlessly clean, spacious enough, and in a charming period townhome.The "needs work" part: had some issues with the management company. First, once you book, everything happens OUTSIDE of the VBBO app. The mgmt co's app/site is basically hot garbage. For instance, why wouldn't parking info for the property be in the same section with door codes and entry info? Separately, try as we might, we couldn't get washcloths. We called (twice) and even stopped by the co's office. Each time a rep said they'd send some over...never happened and no follow-up. The mgmt co also insists you sign its own contract and the person I talked to insisted on getting our ages, even though we clearly "qualified" via VRBO. Long story long...great place, iffy management.

Nice place

The place is very nice. However if you have knee or leg problems there are 2 sets of steep stairs to climb while taking up your belongings. The issue I have is that the internet was out. And we could not get any channels on the TV to watch. I called them twice and got no real help or solution. I tried resetting the Modem 20 times and it still did not work. After research I found out thet the that particular modem is controlled by an App and the host is the only ones that have the user name and password.I never got any help with this therfore we had no channels. That was disappointing.especially for as much money that I spent.No one was willing to help each time that I called about it.
