Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay.

Upstairs - there are 3 bedrooms, full bath, and large family den with gaming table.

Downstairs - large living room with fireplace and sofa sleeper. Large dinner table with fully furnished kitchen. Double doors open to the covered patio area.

Not far from Barkley Marina and Beach.

There are 4 Kayaks available with Large and X-large life jackets and paddles. Water access is at the bottom of the hill in the backyard.

Fun Family Trip

Stayed for summer family trip. Great place for big group. Kitchen well stocked. Lots of games & not ce quiet area. Lots of water stuff to do, go carts, mini golf & great restaurants.

Quick weekend trip

Had a great time at the ponderosa. We came down for the weekend to ride at turkey bay ohv. House was comfortable and quiet. We used the kayaks and checked out the lake. Ches was an excellent host would recommend.

Family weekend

Quiet setting in the backwoods of Kentucky. Nice deck w a view and comfy outdoor furniture. Beds were comfy. Owner very responsive to text communication. Our issues were cleanliness of kitchen, lack of cookware to cook breakfast. Windows were dirty. Could be a great property if it had a good old fashioned deep cleaning.

Hello Denise. We are so glad you enjoyed the view ... please visit again. Deeply, we apologize in regards to the kitchen. I will check the pans and see what is missing. As far as cleanliness, I will look into this, housekeeping should be doing a thorough cleaning each time they come in. And the windows... again, I will check on this too.
