250 ft Private Beach & Dock- The Perfect Riverfront Family Friendly Retreat

Welcome to your family's vacation home away from home! Wake up to water views from every bedroom and enjoy coffee on our waterfront deck or screened porch. The 5 bed/4 bath layout is ideal for multi-family trips or large groups but the real gem of our property is our 250-foot sandy beach on the tranquil shore of Ingram Bay. Our private dock with easy access to the Wicomico river provides the best spot to kayak from or tie up your boat.

Located just across from our private pond, the beach is 250 feet of soft sand and calm water. A quick 2 minute walk is made easier for you with the provided beach cart, 6 beach chairs, towels, sand toys, and umbrella, to make your visit as easy as possible.

The dock can accommodate boats that require four feet or less water level and has electric power as well as a lower platform for launching our kayak or paddle board. At low tide, sand is also revealed right at the dock, just steps away from the back door for impromptu sandcastle building.

The 3200 square foot house features a wide open floor plan, new appliances and furnishings, and stunning endless water views from every room. With 5 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms, a toy-filled playroom, fully equipped kitchen, and smart TVs throughout, the house is perfect for multiple families or large groups. The screened porch and riverfront deck will no doubt become your favorite spots to lounge and dine.

Family getaway

We had a great family getaway! House was clean, plenty of space for our multigenerational group. Loved the private beach, fishing and crabbing and paddling in the kayaks.

Amazing environment, the views were to die for and the privacy was great! The home was stunning, we will most certainly stay again. Rooms were huge and very spacious. We had 7 people staying but were able to fit other family in the home for dinner that were staying near-by

This spacious home was perfect for our family get-together. The large common areas fit everyone while there were also areas for privacy. It’s a beautiful waterfront location - peaceful and relaxing. The kitchen was well appointed and easy to use for big family meals. We took advantage of sunset dinners on the screen porch, the beach wagon and umbrella, and the kayaks. We are very happy with our choice to stay here!

Family vacation

This house is absolutely lovely. The pictures are a true representation of the home.. It was very clean and the location is perfect, water on three sides. It accommodated 10 of us very easily and a few dogs. We would absolutely stay again.

Relaxing Getaway

Our family decided to take a spur of the moment long weekend getaway, and really lucked out when we found this property available. The house is decorated beautifully. And the views are amazing. The location is a bit remote, but so worth it. We enjoyed sunrises on the front yard private beach and sunsets in the backyard on the pier. The whole family had a very relaxing fun time. We will definitely be back.

Easter Break Vacation

We knew that April would be an iffy monlh to rent, but the weather did cooperate. The water was too cold and it was extremely windy but we did get to sit on the beach one day, fly kites and play in the sand on other days. Beautiful view, beautiful home. Lots of toys/books for our 4 grandchildren to play with. The bedrooms were very spacious and the kitchen provided lots of room for all of us.

Quiet and comfortable

Our family had a wonderful stay here. The two beaches and dock offer a variety of outdoor activities. The water is warm and shallow, great for the little ones. The hosts have everything you need and more. The beach supplies and amenities provided were excellent. The house is lovely, comfortable, and has a great kids playroom with tons of toys. The neighbors are very friendly too! This is a great place for a quiet family vacation. Thanks!

Beautiful Bay Visit

Fantastic time in Heathsville. House was beautiful and comfortable. Cozy beds and linens. Spacious rooms, all with beautiful water views. Private bay beach was heaven, even with chilly temperatures. Hosts were easily reached and accommodating. We had a concern with the stove and the hosts had a handyman there tontake cate or it within 10 minutes of contacting them. Hope we have the opportunity to stybat this property again.

Beautiful Getaway House

I rented this house with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday and it was so lovely! The house itself is much more spacious than the photos seem. It is beautifully decorated and the beds were tremendously comfortable. The kitchen was well-appointed and there was plenty of space for our party of 12. We really appreciated the beach and beach chairs that were supplied - it was great to have such beautiful outdoor space on the water. Our host, Morgan, was very responsive and helpful - she even let us check out late to enjoy the beach longer! Would definitely love to enjoy this stunning property again!

Relaxing vacation that the whole family enjoyed. We all hope to go back one day. The house is well maintained with everything you could need. My Mom loved the kitchen. We used the provided kayaks to go around the point. Such a quiet lovely area. The guys enjoyed fishing and crabbing off the dock. Then to cool off, we just went across the "street" to the Bay to swim. Having access to both the river and the bay is such a neat bonus. My only suggestion would be to wear water shoes walking over and into the Bay. There are a lot of shells that can hurt your feet but once you get in a few feet it is soft sand.

Beautiful spot on the river AND bay!

We stayed for a week with three generations of my family and loved the house and all there was to do. Bay out front, river out back, beautiful water views from every room! We enjoyed crabbing and fishing, playing on the beach and in the water, watching the Olympics on the big living room tv, biking, kayaking. This is a rural, quiet area, but great if you like being near/on water. The house was comfortable and clean. We appreciated the extra fridge and freezer in the garage, the kids’ play area, and big bedrooms (the only small one was the Downstairs queen). Bring your own toiletries, and maybe some extra towels (the ones there were pretty basic and thin). Otherwise, we found the house well stocked. We would love to return!

Welcome to Sandy Point! We feel so lucky to have enjoyed this amazing place with our family and are thrilled to be sharing it with you.
We know you'll be blown away by the water views from each room but the real gem is the private beach just around the pond. When we saw it for the first time, we envisioned our kids playing in the sand and calm water and just knew we would make years of memories here. We've also taken quite a few kayak trips from the end of the dock and spotted so many ducks, birds, fish, and other wildlife.
The house was fully refurnished in 2023 and is stocked with all the amenities we could think of but the town of Kilmarnock is just a quick 15 minute drive away.
We hope you'll love it here as much as we do.
