Whether you're chasing colorful fall foliage, enjoying cool summer evenings, skiing fresh powder, or simply looking for a quiet weekend away, Great Grandfather View offers the ideal home base.

Outdoor living is at the heart of the experience. The covered porch invites you to spend your days rocking with a morning coffee, sharing meals around the outdoor dining table, or simply soaking in the spectacular mountain views. Just steps away, the private hot tub provides the perfect place to unwind beneath the stars, while the backyard fire pit sets the stage for evenings filled with laughter, stories, and toasted marshmallows.

Inside, cathedral ceilings with exposed beams create an inviting atmosphere throughout the open-concept living space. Gather around the impressive wood-burning stone fireplace, settle in for a movie on the Smart TV, or enjoy quality time together in a layout designed for conversation and connection. The beautifully updated kitchen features modern finishes, white tile accents, a large stone island with seating for three, and is set up to prepare everything from a quick breakfast to a memorable family dinner.

The peaceful king suite is complete with a walk-in closet, a beautifully renovated ensuite bath with a tub and shower, and private access to the porch, making it easy to step outside and enjoy the mountain air at any time. A comfortable queen bedroom and an additional renovated full bathroom offer inviting accommodations for family and friends.

Just off the living room, the spacious bunk room is sure to become a favorite for younger guests. With two twin-over-twin bunk beds, cathedral ceilings, dramatic peaked windows, a TV, foosball table, books, and a variety of board games, it's the perfect place for kids and teens to relax after a day of adventure. For additional sleeping flexibility, the living room also includes a comfortable sleeper sofa.

The newly remodeled lower level, completed in Spring 2026, creates another inviting gathering space for your group. Stretch out on the plush sectional to watch a movie or the big game, challenge friends to a game of darts, or enjoy a favorite beverage around the wet bar complete with a wine refrigerator. Designed for relaxation and entertainment, this level offers something for guests of every age.

Outside, a Weber grill makes it easy to enjoy mountain cookouts. Tucked behind the cabin, the private fire pit area is surrounded by the woods, creating a secluded setting for crisp mountain evenings under a canopy of stars.
