We were only in town a couple nights, but made the most of it. Location worked well for driving to the attractions we wanted to see. Tower of the Americas, river walk, The Alamo, and restaurants. All was great.
Was not aware of this quite neighborhood just blocks south of King William District. Lots of local eateries and even neighborhoods micro breweries. Property was a down to studs refurbishment and nicely finished.
Was very nice and clean. Everything was as it said it would be. Neighborhood looked a little sketchy but was actually nice and quiet. No problems and would stay there again.
Great property. Very updated, clean and well supplied. Several extras to make your stay even better. The location was a little sketchy, but once inside felt safe.
Super cute home and perfect for our business getaway.
The house was conveniently located for our stay. Super cute and clean. It featured everything we needed. The hot tub was a great way to relax at the end of our day full of business meetings.
Overall the property and owner response was great. Location to downtown was convenient. Very close to unique restaurants and bars. The home was up for sale so we did have a few random cars pull up in front but never came to the door. It is an "up and coming" neighborhood for sure. Never really felt unsafe but wouldn't go for long walks.
The home & location were perfect for our needs. We were so close to all of the downtown historic sites that we could do multiple events each day we were there. And we could rest in between day and evening activities. Beds are comfy. The kitchen is well stocked. Would definitely stay there again.
This was a really great little house with everything you needed to be super comfortable. The host was very quick to communicate when I reached out to her. Definitely would stay here again!
My family and I really enjoyed our stay at The Lone Star Landing. The home was clean and spacious just as the photos illustrate. Check in was easy, we were about 8 min away from Downtown SA which made it easily accessible to every place we wanted to visit. The hot tub was a great perk. Neighbors were quiet and kept to themselves. Thank you @ The Lone Star Landing for hosting such a quaint place for us.
This was the perfect place for the three friends to gather with three bedrooms and two baths was very well appointed and the manager was very gracious and communicative with us
Long story short - the pictures are very accurate and up-to-date, it's a really nice property that's been remodeled really nicely. Very clean, neat, cozy vibe. The owner was super friendly and very responsive which counts for a lot. The "rules" are very simple and fair no surprises, there were nice little homey touches. Would definitely go back, HIGHLY RECOMMENDSide note - there are a lot of train tracks in the neighborhoods around the house, and there seem to be a lot of trains at times, so budget a little extra time to get to wherever you're going haha.
Loved this home! Beds were great, there was plenty of hot water and the entire home appears to have been upgraded. Neighborhood is a little rough but you tell homes are being remodeled, and we had no problems whatsoever, and the location was perfect for our weekend plans.

Why they chose this property
The Lone Star District is a historic neighborhood and has been around since the 1800s. It gets its name from the old Lone Star Beer Brewery which boarders the neighborhood.
Over the last few years the neighborhood has received a lot of attention from investors and new residents. You will see that many of the homes are newly renovated, but some are still original.
The neighborhood is quiet and welcoming. We look forward to additional improvements as time goes on and as the Lone Star District is eventually transformed into something amazing.
