This property was very clean and well furnished. The beds were super comfortable. The master bath is gorgeous and I loved the kitchen decor and it was well appointed. The yard was great for our small dog.

Great house, great location

We made a quick weekend trip to celebrate our daughter's 21st birthday. The house was comfortable (especially the bed in the main bedroom), centrally licated and commination was quick and easy with the owner. Definitely on our list for our next visit.

Great Neighborhood Home in Artsy Neighborhood

Had a great stay in this lovely home in an artsy neighborhood, close to lots of great coffee shops and restaurants. Centrally located, nice and clean, and Chris was a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Remodel

Quiet, wonderful neighborhood. House has been stylishly remodeled. Kitchen is beautiful and master bathroom is spa-like! We took our shih tzu and he had a great backyard..no need for walking and leashes! Close drive to activities. We had a great time!

Perfect Family Getaway

We needed a safe, comfortable place to meet our adullt child who lives across the United States with our fur baby (an Australian shepherd) for Thanksgiving. We wanted a place close to the airport, parks, shopping, and the Alamo because we had less than a week. This place had everything we needed and some extra perks (porch and grill). We felt safe and in a quaint neighborhood that was used to animals and family. We had an awesome stay in San Antonio.

Center of everything

Neighborhood does look iffy but we had no issues & neighbors are nice. Host responded to issues promptly. Main thing, everything we planned during our stay was all literally 10 minutes away at most. Definitely recommend

The house had everything we needed, and we were able to have our pets with us. There are three bedrooms and two baths, which was perfect for our group.The home is in an older neighborhood, but all of the homes seemed to be well kept. We found the house to be very clean. The kitchen was well stocked, but we didn't cook. Our high school band was competing for State at the Alamodome, which was only a five-minute drive. We were also near good restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

SeaWorld Riverwalk Family Weekend

My 10yr old, 20yr old and 23yr old college kiddos, and my husband and I had the best weekend in San Antonio. Casa Pajaritos was a home away from home and had every amenity we could have wanted. The neighborhood was so quiet and very convenient to everything. The grocery store was right around the corner and we had meals at home, just like home. The host was so generous and made himself available for us with anything we needed during our stay. 10 out of 10 for sure!!

Overall my stay was pleasant. I was expecting one additional 1/2 bath based on the listing, but that wasn’t a huge deal. The front and back porches were nice. The kitchen worked very well for prepping meals and had plenty of dishes. Figuring out the lights was a little tricky, but eventually got them down. If you’re looking for a decent, affordable, clean space to stay, near the Riverwalk, this will meet your needs and give you some of the conveniences of home (making meals on-site, doing laundry if needed, hanging out in the backyard, etc.)

Host was great. House was mostly clean. However there was a horrible cat pee smell that was throughout the house. I know the host said they spray for bugs but we found multiple cockroaches throughout the house, even in the kitchen. The vents were very dirty and falling from the ceiling. The stove was disconnected and took some figuring out. There are also many cats that just are out and about all over the outside.

Our pest control provider has increased the treatment frequency and expanded coverage areas, including the kitchen. The ceiling vents have been cleaned, secured, and inspected. The stove connection has been fully serviced and tested — it's now straightforward for all guests to use, and we've added clear instructions in the house manual as a backup. Regarding the outdoor cats — these are neighborhood strays in the Southtown area and aren't associated with the property. We understand this can be surprising if you're not expecting it. We appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention. They've helped us make meaningful improvements, and we're confident future guests will have a much better experience. The host did a great job communicating—responses were within 24 hours easily. The house was much bigger than we thought once we got inside. Overall, everything was clean and all the amenities listed were provided. The bedrooms were nice and the beds were super comfortable. The bathrooms were nice (especially the master bathroom)—and the hand soaps were gentle and smelled nice. The kitchen was clean, well-equipped and spacious. The living room was comfortable; there were games, but we were so busy, we didn’t see them until the night before we left. The laundry room was clean and had laundry detergent. The neighborhood was quiet at night and we saw 1 neighbor who seemed nice.The only problem I had was that the dining room chairs were uncomfortable for sitting—problem solved by folding a towel and covering the front part of the chair.Overall, we enjoyed our stay—5 adults and 1 teen. Check in was smooth, the house was very clean! The kitchen was fully equipped with every item tou would need to cook a meal. There was some laundry detergent so I was able to wash some towels and clothes which was nice. The neighborhood is very quiet. Which is unusual since a lot of people live in it. The shower was missing a detachable shower handle but the top large one worked so it wasn’t too big of a deal. The outside was not what it looks like in the picture unfortunately. Maybe time of season that we went but the back yard looked run down, the play set was ripped, the cowboy pool had debris and needs to be cleaned. We did not need it but for a family who might have wanted to maybe a little disappointing.
