Located just outside of Toccoa, GA on a main road just minutes from HWY 17 and South Carolina, this house is within sight of Currahee Mountain. Between Camp Toccoa and the Currahee Military Museum, this house is on the route soldiers would have marched down to do parachute and rifle training when Camp Toccoa was in operation. With many other attractions nearby, there's plenty to keep you busy!
With three bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms, and a spacious entertaining area and kitchen, this house is perfect for families. Surrounded by trees with a small deck at the back of the house, the house offers a shady spot to relax. Equipped with a ramp on the main entrance and handicap accessories in the bathroom, those with disabilities or injuries can easily access the house.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes and cookware as well as a toaster oven, coffeemaker, mixer, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, and dishwasher. There's a king size sleep number bed in the master bedroom, and a double bed and bunk bed in the other two bedrooms. Laundry should be easy with a washer and dryer conveniently located near the bedrooms.
A four car carport is right next to the house and offers additional space for outdoor activities even if the sun is not shining. There's plenty of room for multiple vehicles. Space, power and water are available for RV hookup. The house is solidly built with clay brick which helps to regulate the internal temperature, making it an environmentally friendly choice.
It's a great alternative to a hotel for families visiting the area!

Quaint little 3 - 1.5 house in Toccoa. Our host family was attentive to our needs while respectful of our privacy. We stayed for over a week and the little brick house was exactly what we needed. Nothing too fancy, but just right for our stay.
Clean and convenient to TFC!! Host is great and very responsive. Home is stocked well with needed linens. Quaint vintage home that takes you down memory lane.
The house was like staying at grandma's home. It was comfortable, the beds were lovely to sleep on, and it was everything we needed. I was worried I'd hear the sounds of the road, but the bedrooms are towards the back of the house, so this didn't bother me. The best part was the accessibility, I was traveling with my elderly father. It had a ramp to get in and even a shower chair in the large shower. The family was so nice to leave a thoughtful card for us as well. As Toccoa doesn't really have any hotels to stay at, I highly recommend this property.
The home was comfortable and conveniently located, especially for those wanting to visit Camp Toccoa, Currahee and the museum. The kitchen was well-furnished, and the house was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were communicative and friendly. Nice stay!
This was our second stay here and this house is our favorite place to stay while visiting family in the Toccoa area. The host family is the absolute best, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. We highly recommend this place and will return again the next time we visit.
We were well pleased with this house. We were in town for a wedding at Geary Farm which was less than 10 minutes away the house. We highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.
Wonderful overnight stay! What a quaint and cozy home!!! Hosts were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Check-in and out were made very simple.
We were able to visit Henderson Park, Toccoa Fall, Toccoa lake, Currahee Mountain trail, Tallulah falls and state park! Perfect place to come home and take breaks in peace and quiet!
Great price. It was a little dated but very clean. The people were very nice/friendly and willing to do whatever to make the stay more comfortable. Would definitely stay again.
What a wonderful home to stay in. Super cozy and felt like staying at my families house as a kid. Plenty of room, comfy beds and stocked kitchen.Thank you for sharing your home with us!
We enjoyed our stay. The only complaints we have are that the house had an odor, not a foul odor but just an older, maybe musty smell. The bed in the master bedroom was very uncomfortable, and the front yard had a basketball hoop that wasn't usable.
