Welcome to “Woodland Creekside Cabin” located in the quaint mountain town of Ellijay, GA. This charmingly rustic cabin accommodates up to 6 guests. It is nestled on 4 forested acres, bordering the beautiful & serene Tails Creek. A perfect nature lover's escape for couples or friend's getaway. Enjoy the many wine tours, apple houses, delicious restaurants, rivers & hiking trails nearby. The cabin is within minutes to the spectacular Tumbling Waters waterfalls and Carter's Lake. A big bonus, you do not need a four-wheel drive vehicle!

A perfect intimate gathering place for couples and good friends!

Living Area:
Floor to ceiling stone fireplace *High speed internet with Free Wi-Fi *Premium Bluetooth speaker *65 inch Smart TV includes Netflix, HBO, Hulu, Paramount, Disney+ & Peacock all for your convenience. Comfortable couch and recliner.
Cozy Covered Deck: Relax and unwind among the trees, on the above ground covered porch that overlooks the natural paradise. Comfortable casual seating, a dining table and Charbroil grill for your outdoor enjoyment.

Kitchen/Dining: A fully equipped kitchen with all the cooking essentials for preparing those home cooked meals. Extras included are an insta pot, air fryer & crock pot.
We provide you with a complimentary roll of paper towels, dish soap and two garbage bags to get you started.

2 Bedrooms: Both bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor.
Bedroom 1. The Buck bedroom is furnished with a plush King sized log bed & 42 Smart TV.
Bedroom 2. The Doe bedroom is also furnished with a plush King bed & a large 65 inch TV.

2 Bathrooms: Both are full sized with one downstairs & one upstairs. Easy walk in showers with hand held shower heads. We provide a roll of toilet paper, bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths shampoo and body wash in each.

Ultimate Game Room: 70” Smart TV and comfortable reclining leather love seat. Beside the love seat is a bunk bed with a full mattress on the bottom and a twin mattress on top. It's the perfect viewing area for sports fans and movie nights. Play Chess, professional darts, poker and even karaoke. Also included is Legends Ultimate Arcade (3600 games) and Legends Pinball. Last but not least, corn hole and horse shoes for outdoor games.

Bubbly Spa Tub for 4: After a long day of adventure and sight seeing, retreat to the warmth of the soothing spa.
Guest access
You and your guest have complete access to the property, minus the owners closet in the Doe bedroom. You & your guest have access to the creek, but please do not cross to the far side of the creek. Please be aware and respectful at all times.
Other things to note
Please understand for safety reasons we do not allow children under the age of 6. We are in the woods.. so be careful of wildlife. . Please be mindful that this is our personal home. No pets allowed. We are delighted to welcome you as our guest and hope that you will enjoy it as much as we do.

This place was perfect in every way! There is nothing you could want for because it’s already there. The fire pit and hot tub were a huge hit with us. The house is roomy with plenty of space for everyone, game room was so much fun. The yard is huge with many places to sit by the creek. Cheryl is an amazing host who is ready to help with anything.

This was our second time staying here. We love the cozy feel and the owner is so nice and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and even made suggestions for activities and attractions. We really enjoy sitting on the back porch listening to the creek and watching for wildlife. We seen a doe and her two babies cross the creek. The hot tub is nice way to relax in the evening after hiking and sightseeing all day. Perfect getaway

This cabin was fantastic. By far the most comfortable we’ve stayed in. The property is absolutely amazing. Having coffee by the water every morning was the best part. I imagine summer time would provide some nice fishing. They have tons of amenities including fishing poles, a playground, hot tub, gas grill, and canoes for when the water is higher. Very private and quiet. There are a couple of dogs and some goats on the other side of the creek. That’s about all we saw of the neighbors. The kitchen was also stocked with flour, sugar, cooking supplies and appliances. And let’s not forget about the game room! We spent hours in there playing games and watching tv. There is a washer and drier as well in case you need to do laundry. We would love to stay here again. In 10 years of cabin trips, this has been the best one. The hosts were great as well. They had the cabin ready early and let us know we could check in at any point. Great communication.

Best Vacation!

We loved everything about this vacation! The cabin was remote, but not too far from hikes and restaurants. We absolutely loved the outdoor area. I contacted Cheryl for fishing ideas and she was very helpful. The vacation was just what we wanted and needed!

My husband and I have stayed a couple times at this beautiful property on the creek. Each time we arrive a sense of calm washes over us and each time we have to leave , we wish we could stay longer. The home is amazing with so many sweet touches. Bedrooms have some sweet touches like a floral arch over one of the beds and beds are comfortable. The entire home is kept clean. Everything you could want for making meals is provided in the kitchen. The living room is cozy with a lovely fireplace and great tv for watching sports. The porch is probably one of my favorite spots, sit and sip some cocoa or tea while you listen to a babbling creek and sounds of nature! Then there’s the trees and pathway down to a fire pit and 2 hammocks! The host is easy to reach and extremely helpful! Can’t say enough about this beautiful home and surrounding property!

Romantic Retreat

We had an amazing time in the beautiful home!!!! It had everything you could possibly need and the home was extremely clean!!! The surroundings provided plenty of privacy and tranquility. Also, only a couple of minutes from Apple Orchards, restaurants, groceries, and more. Don’t forget the completed game room!!!

Almost Perfect!

The cabin and the property are amazing. We enjoyed dawdling in the stream and the hot tub, and the old-school arcade games on rainy days. The cabin and the kitchen in particular are so well stocked! We felt like houseguests and Cheryl was very welcoming. This is not the typical sterile, investor-owned short-term rental! We recommend having 4W drive as we spun a little on the wet gravel. There are other houses close by (with goats!) but it didn’t bother us.

Amazing home in a great location!

This home is beautiful! Having the stream along the back of the property is instantly relaxing. The hosts provide quality linens and towels. The beds are comfortable in pleasant rooms. Well equipped kitchen. Comfy areas to relax and or enjoy tv. Cute game room! Any questions we had were quickly answered. Would definitely like to return!

Cozy and peaceful getaway

We loved everything about this cabin. It had all the amenities that you would want from the large game room with arcade games and darts as well as large screen tv, hot tub, big back porch overlooking the creek, fishing poles, corn hole and horseshoes, and gas grill. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook a meal. The cabin was decorated so nicely. Loved all the decor especially the bedrooms. The recliner was so comfortable that a made my husband take a picture of the label so see where it came from. I came home and ordered two for my house!! Lol! Thanks so much for an amazing stay and I hope next time we can stay a little longer.

First we want to thank Cheryl for allowing my husband and I to rent her cabin. From the moment you pull up to the driveway you become mesmerized by nature. The serene and peace you feel from the sound of the bird's & the roaring of the creek below allows you to leave the every day hustle and bustle behind. The attention to details throughout the home shows that is taken care with love. Inside the cabin you have everything you need to cook, bake & even have a fancy romantic dinner. The Game room is a place to unwind and let loose. From Mario Brothers, to paper boy, mortal kombat, ping pong, dart boards, Karaoke and movie night area you'll enjoy it for hours. The hot spa is well kept and clean. The grounds are well kept and youll enjoy just sitting by the creek on a hammock or just the rocking chairs and enjoyed peaceful time. During the day or even at night time you can have your hot tea or coffee on the wrap around porch which overlooks the property & enjoy the view of the creek.the campfires area is also well kept and you can enjoy it and make smores or just enjoyied the company your with. The beds were so comfortable & if you get lucky and it rains when you go to sleep you'll enjoy beautiful soothing rain sounds on the tin roof such a melody could not be made up. We can go on & on about how wonderful this place is, we are already making plans to visit very soon. Thank you Cheryl & the host Audra. May God continue to bless you, your home and your families

Beautiful cabin tucked away on a creek. It was very peaceful and really well stocked with everything you could need and more. We would love to come back sometime! The arcade room is a nice little fun bonus.

Why they chose this property

Listening to Tails Creek is clearly a winner for me! I do enjoy seeing passing deer and other wildlife. The hummingbirds in the summertime are especially fun to watch. The area is quiet and on 4 plus acres of land. Very easy to access and you do not need a 4 wheel drive vehicle.. close to main road yet still very quiet!

What makes this property unique

This is a beautiful piece of property. The home is surrounded with a lush forest setting and the sound of the rushing creek. The spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds each designed with imagination and fun in mine.
