We rented this for our annual family River Christmas. We picked this one because of the hot tub and location. Unfortunately the hot tub didn't work. Other then that it was a nice place.
This cabin was perfectly located. A short drive to town and beautiful scenery. Clean and well stocked with essentials.

The diveway was not good. Not a lot of room and 2 cars is almost impossible. There really is not any room for the dogs to really go. I would look at the last set of stairs going down to the stream. They are a little wobbly.
Clean and updated interior. Outside areas need some TLC. Lots of steps to access everything—not for young kids or adults with physical issues. 15 steps to loft, 18 steps to basement, 62 steps to river. Phew! Great hot tub with a view on one of two decks. Once you get to the river, you just step right in to cool water about 2’ deep. We tied up a raft to float without getting swept downstream and also was able to paddleboard there. Small yard area with fire pit next to river was great for hanging out and very peaceful. There are neighbors on all sides, but mostly hidden by trees. Driveway is short but steep but wasn't an issue for awd suv. Only complaint is noise every few minutes that sounded like a muffled slamming of a door downstairs. Drove us crazy then figured out it was the water pump turning on and off constantly. Eventually got used to it but not sure why it was doing that. But overall enjoyed our stay.
The cabin may be suitable for younger adults. The bathrooms were clean, but the king bedroom sheets appeared to not have been washed, with hair and stains on them. We had to wash and dry them before we could sleep that night. The other beds were okay. There was an issue with their water pressure system, causing a banging noise every 40 seconds the first night- a sleepless night with a toddler. We contacted the property manager who had to reach out to the owner. Several hours later, we were told to cut off the pressure system and use the well… luckily my husband and father were able to figure out how to do that, but this caused one of the two bathrooms to not have hot water. The back side/back yard of the property are littered with trash- beer cans, beer bottles, broken Adirondack chairs, old fire pit pieces, old umbrellas, old floats, etc. There were two locks on the doors that didn’t work- so we had to figure out which locks work and which ones don’t. There was no trashcan in the kitchen so we had to keep a trashbag in there which wasn’t fun with a toddler and 3 dogs. The hot tub did work, so we were happy to discover that. However, the outdoor heater on that porch did not work.
