About this property
5 br|Parking | Mins to RIT, UR & Strong
Full of timeless characters and charms, this grand yet cozy house is perfect for hosting large groups and groups, with 5 spacious Air-Conditioned bedrooms (incld 2 king rooms), 2 marble full baths, and plenty of common space. This property is just 3 minutes drive from college town and Strong hospital, or a short walk to U of R. It's also a short drive to RIT, ROC airport, Kodak, conference centers, wedding venues etc Old-time charm meets modern comfort in this house. It is curated with retro industrial furnitures, premium beddings, and black out curtains. The grand living room has a 65 in TV, a beautiful fireplace, and plenty of seating for large group. The kitchen is fully equipped with cookwares and condiments, the coffee & tea bar is stocked up with a rotating seasonal menu, while the bathroom features hotel-grade luxury toiletries. All bedrooms, as well as the living room, are equipped with Air Conditioners to ensure a good night sleep. Guests will have access to the entire house during their stay- except the attic and basement. I'm always just a message away! Please feel free to reach out- I am available and happy to help and make sure you have a wonderful stay. The house is on a busy street and neighborhood, with several original home owners and older houses and stores; but also a lot of (relatively recently added) students housing and student jogging around/ walking their dogs. Us New Yorker usually like to compare this neighborhood to East Williamsburg/ Bushwick of Brooklyn. On the direct shuttle line of University of Rochester, the house is only 3 mins drive (or 15 mins walk!) to University of Rochester, 5 mins to Strong/ Highland/ Unity hospital, less than 10 mins to RIT, and 11 mins from St John Fisher Our Airbnb is located on a central street with direct bus lines and the U of R shuttle lines. However, to get the best of the city, we highly recommend that guests have a car for easy access to nearby restaurants, shopping centers, and tourist attractions. We do have a large driveway that can accommodate several cars, so you won't have to worry about finding a parking spot. There is also plenty of street parking available for guest groups who have multiple vehicles. Each bedroom, as well as the living room, has its own Air Conditioning unit. Since it is a big house, this will enable everyone to adjust the temperature to their liking to ensure optimal Comfort.

Owners were communicative and accommodating. Getting into the house was smooth & the house was spotless! Hoping to find out where the bedding is from because the duvet and sheets were incredibly soft and cozy.

Golf getaway
Place was immaculate inside with loads of character. Close to restaurants and the beautiful downtown area.
Outside, the lawn was grown over 4+” deep, and, although the backyard is a nice size there is no usable area or furnishings to sit out.
Immediate area surrounding is a bit run down.

Decent older house
Overall decent house, has very recently been flipped, not a great area, no washer or dryer,
The property was beautiful and very clean. We had plenty of room for our extended family to spread out. We all had our own bedrooms with very comfortable beds. The living/dining area was a great gathering space. The kitchen had what we needed for meal preparation.
Communication with the owner was easy with quick responses to our pre-arrival questions. Thank you.
