Bender's Log Cabin is located in the sleepy little town of Poncha Springs in the heart of the Rockies. Nestled at the foot of Poncha Pass in south central Colorado, Poncha is only minutes away from the world famous Arkansas River where awesome whitewater rafting thrills thousands each summer. Bender's is also located at the foot of Monarch Pass for easy access to Monarch Mountain Ski Area. Just 5 minutes from Salida for shopping or dining. Poncha's new grocery store a few minutes drive from the cabin. Only 15 minutes from Mt. Shavano trailhead, add a little more time for the rest of the 14teeners trailheads.

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was spotless and had everything our family would need for a few nights away from home. It was beautiful, spotless and even more charming than the photos. Marilyn is so kind and her communication was wonderful! This is a great location if you are visiting the area and want to do different things everyday. Plus there is a park right around the corner for the kids to burn energy.
