This lovely comfortable home was everything we wanted and more. It is well appointed for a multi family vacation with plenty of things to do. We enjoyed the game room, theater room and the massive dining room table is big enough for two large puzzles at one time! The views are wonderful. It was far enough out of town to feel like we were in the middle of nowhere but close enough for grocery store runs, dinners out and fun day trips. We would come back in a heartbeat!

Gorgeous house with the most amazing views. House had everything we needed. 10 minute drive from the interstate through winding country roads. Must drive slow past cranky neighbor, but that’s not too challenging given the driveway is very steep in places. Rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. Couches and theater room were relaxing. Bring ice if you’re going to want it for drinks. Plenty of space to spread out (two different dining rooms!!). Front porch was huge (agian these views!), just be cautious near the edge/ railing. Wonderful trip, thanks again for everything!!

We loved our stay in this cabin! The views were breathtaking and they had the most well stocked kitchen I have ever experienced with a short term vacation rental. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Words cannot describe how beautiful this home was... It had everything we needed and more for our stay. I just did a girls' weekend with some of my closest friends, and we had such a wonderful time. This house accommodated all of our needs and then some. The outdoor deck area was lovely for sunrise and sunset, as well as for playing cards or other games. The backyard and firepit/rock features were wonderful. The views from the inside were absolutely breathtaking. The kitchen was the best-stocked of any rental I have ever stayed in. The game room was the cherry on top, as we enjoyed playing games. Our host, Amanda, was extremely communicative and very responsive. If I ever find myself in Asheville or North Canton again, I will book this stunning home. If you are looking for a getaway in the mountains, something chill and laidback, this is the vibe!

Amazing Vista and thoughtful hosts

We absolutely loved this property and Amanda was extremely helpful as we navigated our stay in the area. We have visited the mountains many times but have never had a view like that. It was breathtaking. The place was very clean, well stocked, and had many private spaces to take a peaceful moment to yourself. We will certainly book this space again for our next group event.

Spectacular!

Our family was in town for a wedding and the house was perfect for us! The views are breathtaking and the house has anything you could possibly need. We had 9 adults and 1 child and there was plenty of room for everyone. Amanda was very responsive with any questions. If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely stay again!

We had an absolutely incredible stay here! The cabin was beautiful and so well equipped with anything you could possibly need! The kitchen was fully stocked, and there was a ton of seating and areas for us to all hang out both as a group and separately. We were so impressed that the space truly was big enough for a larger group — several areas of the cabin had enough space for all of us to gather together! The view was absolutely breathtaking, and the road up to the cabin is not as treacherous as I’m typically used to with such a beautiful view. The hosts were extremely communicative. We loved that a grocery store is only 10 minutes away, yet it still feels very remote. We already can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful Mountain Escape!

Great stay with beautiful mountain views. Comfortable places in the house to gather and chat while looking at the stars and the mountains. We loved our stay! Nice comfortable beds, large bedrooms. Plenty of room for the kids to enjoy themselves, the movie theater room was fun for them. Well appointed kitchen. Clean, and chill spot for friends/family to catch up. WIFI was fast, cellular not really in play so prepare to unwind!

Beautiful, Comfortable stay!

The property is absolutely beautiful - steep driveway on the way up but so worth it for that view! The property is very clean and well-kept and was so spacious. Even better than the photos depicted. Communication was also great! Fast responses & very thorough. Stayed over the weekend for a girls trip to Asheville and location was about 20-30 minutes from anywhere we were headed - close but still far enough away to feel peaceful. 12/10 would recommend to others :)

Grandpa's Wish

I have chosen the title "Grandpa's Wish because he loves the mountains and very much wanted to vacation there. Since he is 95 yrs old, it was important that he had a good view since hiking etc., was out of the question. This was the perfect house and the perfect setting for our family gathering. The view of the mountains was just as described - loved watching the sunrise and the morning mist rise off the mountains. House was definitely well maintained and well furnished. Lots of room to spread out, play games or just relax and watch a movie. Communication with the host was exceptional. Though there was seldom a need to communicate with Amanda, she consistently responded promptly. Having rented VRBO homes in the past, I have never experienced such a responsive host. Hope we have the opportunity to return!

We enjoyed every moment in this beautiful home, with its breathtaking views and spacious interior. My teen daughter called it "peak" (as in the very best) and joked we were staying in the house from the Twilight movie, with its gorgeous mountain views. We were a family from ages 11-76, and everyone was comfortable and happy. The master bedroom is on the first floor, along with two other bedrooms and the game room, and anyone staying on that floor needs to go up stairs to get to the main kitchen/living/dining area -- just something to consider if you have older adults with mobility issues, but they were very comfortable in the bedrooms on that main level (and they could access the driveway from either level). There was plenty of space to socialize and lots to do, from the theater room to the game room with a pool table and foosball table to just sitting on the deck and taking in the scenery. The hosts were very communicative and kind — I really appreciated their proactive messages ahead of arrival and responsiveness. Every detail of this house was so well thought out. It is a wonderful place to make memories with your family. 10/10, highly recommend.

Long weekend getaway

We had 2 families (4 adults, 2 teens and 2 tweens) for a long weekend. We had planned outdoor activities but wanted a house that would have enough room to spread out if the weather did not cooperate. The movie room was a big part of the backup plan and it did not disappoint. Master bedroom is huge and has a great view. The other bedrooms are small in comparison but we did not spend much time in them. Both indoors and out, there was plenty of room to socialize, play games and enjoy the view. We fired up the charcoal grill for dinner and cooked s'mores on the firepit. House was spotless and room for us to park 3 cars without blocking anyone. The windows let in plenty of light and it could get toasty in the mornings until we turned on the fans. I'd agree it's convenient to Asheville (30 minutes) and there's a grocery store, restaurants and shops in Canton about 10 minutes away. Spent some time in Waynesville, rafted in Marshall (50 minutes) and went hiking in DuPont Park (55 minutes). So it's close enough you don't feel like you're spending all day in the car. Great stay and Amanda was quick to respond to questions. Check out was easy, just clean up, put trash in the garage and go.

My husband and I have both worked in the hospitality industry, attempting to go above and beyond for people. I switched into real estate and combined the customer service experience with my love for real estate. Although I paused my real estate career to stay at home with our kids, I was still able to look for a unique property that would bring us joy! We have always enjoyed escaping to the mountains. When we first saw this house we felt like it was the perfect escape to comfortably enjoy with our friends and family. We designed it around doing just that and we put our whole hearts into making that happen. We decided we would feel the most fulfilled by giving other families and friends the opportunity to enjoy it as much as we do! We can't help but to pour our hospitality and customer service experience into this adventure. We want to make sure everyone has the best, most memorable experience that we have to offer!

Why they chose this property

Counting mountain peaks has always been one of my favorite activities when going to the mountains. This neighborhood is nestled in a mountain that is surrounded by long range views of mountain peaks...all shapes and sizes! The view is breathtaking and is constantly changing based on the time of day and the time of year! To keep things exciting, the weather can even change the mountain peak count within MINUTES! We also enjoy the short range view of farmland. To top it all off, a picturesque red barn can be seen from the living room windows! It's a very peaceful neighborhood, perfect for relaxing. The neighborhood is mutually quiet and respectful.

The fully paved driveway provides easy access to the property and ample parking for multiple vehicles (it's a bit tricky turning around!) you can enjoy the fresh mountain air and the natural beauty of the surrounding area, while still having all the modern convenience of home.
