Quiet spot

It was a great spot. Quiet and peaceful. There is a short walk from parking to the site, but there’s a wagon to help haul stuff in and out. We heard frogs, owls, fox and coyote. Such beautiful sounds of nature. It rained A LOT during our stay and the tent did not leak at all. It stayed totally dry. The shower and outhouse were close enough that it wasn’t far during the night to go. The tent had cots (we used our blow up mattresses) they seemed comfy when we laid on them. The tent was a good size and my friend, who’s like 5’9”, she could stand up straight with plenty of head room. There was lots of room to move around comfortably. It could easily sleep 4 adults. The kitchenette had dish soap, hand soap, paper towels, plates, bowls, a coffee percolator, real coffee, and utensils for the grill. I’d suggest bringing sneakers or hiking boots. There’s some small branches that stick up out of the ground. And with the rain, there was muddy spots. But in the field we walked around in flip flops no problem. Matt was very friendly. Super quick with responses to communication and helpful. He brought us extra water for hand washing and refilled the water for showers really quickly. And he’s really open to suggestions to make this the best experience possible. We were definitely happy with the spot. It was very relaxing and peaceful. We’d recommend this spot and would book it again. Thank you Matt for making this a great experience.
