Our 3rd annual ski trip with a large group of people and this has been the best place we’ve stayed, plenty of room and other accommodations. Ryan was helpful and had quick responses when we needed something. We would love to stay again next year.
Great house for our annual board n ski trip. Enough space for all. Great new fire pit in the front and nice covered patio in back with a propane fire pit. Well appointed kitchen and home. Ryan gets back quickly if there are questions.
Our stay at the house was excellent. The house was clean, the kitchen was well-equipped, and check-in was easy. The proximity to the water was a big plus and made our stay even more enjoyable.
We came here to spend a weekend with our family (3 different homes). The house is very spacious which was fabulous for our group. Great space for the kids to play and run around. Plenty of bathrooms which was also a major perk of this home. Downtown was convenient as well as the mountain for some fun innertubing for the kids and skiiing/snowboarding for the others. There is some room for improvements, such as the downstairs beds were stiff and had plastic underneath the mattress protectors. The heating system was not working properly. Zonal heat did not work upstairs and the central heating was stuck ON, every night, regardless of the temperature setting. This resulted in the house being 80 degrees through the night, which was very unpleasant. No zonal heating in the downstairs bedrooms. Definitely needs some electrical work as there was limited electrical outlets in some spaces. The blinds on the windows were old, many of them broken and/or missing pieces. The living room couches had a not been thoroughly cleaned for awhile as tons of crumbs and random things were in between the cushions. Fluorescent lights in the bedroom downstairs was a bit rough. Dishwasher detergent dispenser door was broken and wouldn’t latch. Toilets were old and the finish was gone, so new toilet seats are definitely needed. Muddy yard and an old fifth wheel sitting in the yard with a toilet sitting outside. This house has lots of potential, but needs upgrades, a thorough cleaning and maintenance
Great place to stay in Packwood. Plenty of room with 2 gathering spaces, 2 TVs and large dining table. Great new covered porch with seating and fire pit.
This was a wonderful place to stay for our family. Really enjoyed the layout of games upstairs with a great space downstairs for a family dinner and conversation.
Very spacious house in nice, vacation-friendly neighborhood. Within sight of the river. Local town was fun to visit. Great location for hiking Mt Rainier and Mt St Helens.
White pass ski weekend for 8 adults - great location, ample space for relaxing and sleeping. Beds were uncomfortable but for just a couple nights - we made do. Hope to stay again next year!
Plenty of beds and parking space. Description was accurate, and host was easy to communicate with. Not too far from some dinning options in Packwood. This was the perfect spot for my group of 8 adults, with a little room to spare.
I thought this house was a great value. It was spacious for our party of 8 adults and 2 kids (ages 7 and 9). There are two large separate gathering areas to hang out. There are three arcade games that kept the kids amused. There were two square tables that made it comfortable to play double pinochle. The house was clean and well-stocked. We used it as a home base to explore Mount Rainier and nearby lakes. Across the street from the house is a trail that leads to a river. It is small, but the kids enjoyed trying to skip stones which was difficult because the shore is raised above the river. We were there in July so it might be different at other times of the year. The house wasn’t fully updated for those who want the latest and greatest style, but it was clean and comfortable.
Our group had a great stay as we visited Mt Rainier for a long weekend. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment for a large group, and the laundry was a great plus. It was also great to have large common spaces to hang out as a group. Only thing is I wished there was a picture of the office with the fold up beds, as the room was quite small and I didn't really know what to expect.
We were very impressed with how clean it was. The teens and kids loved the game area with air hockey and foosball. Lots of room to spread out for everyone. Hosts were good with communication.
It was a nice house for the size group we had. It needed some updates but worked for us. It was a cozy house that was well supplied. We ran out of hot water everyday though after 2-4 showers, leaving others to have to take cold ones. Good location to the NP.
This place is great! We had extended family and friends for an annual ski weekend and was able to accommodate all of us. So many beds! The whole place is very well organized and labels for where things are. Kitchen was well equipped and all loved the game room. Highly recommend if you have a large group!
