Extremely clean and comfortable lodging for our golf trip to Forest Dunes. Close proximity to the golf complex (right across the street) with better accommodations than what’s offered on property.
Check in was perfect. The owner allowed us access early to drop off perishable groceries before our first round of golf at Forest Dunes. Location was perfect. The house was immaculate and well furnished. Highly recommend!
We loved it!! The Black Barn is absolutely beautiful and very comfortable! It was everything we were looking for in a vacation home for our family. We are already looking at future dates to book our next visit. Thank you Michelle and Christian for creating such a beautiful and inviting property. The Uncommon Ranch is truly one of Michigan’s hidden gems!
The Black Barn is everything it looks like on the listing and more. You will not regret booking this property. Very nicely constructed, comfortable beds, couches, chairs. Great outdoor space, grill, fire pit, seating. Sky gets very very dark at night, if you like stargazing this is an excellent place to do it. Overall extremely quiet and well done. We will be happy to return!
In the middle of nowhere in the State of Michigan sits a wooded oasis. One of the best VRBOs we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. Everything was clean. Large beds and a surprising amount of space. Situated directly across from Forest Dunes on a 200 acre wooded lavender farm. We were celebrating my birthday and the owners went out of their way to provide me with some mementos from the Lavender Farm to celebrate. By far the best part was getting up in the morning and being able to stroll the grounds with a cup of coffee that they produced themselves. Can’t overstate how much we enjoyed this property. A true gem!
