The inside of the house was really cute, and very clean. The location was great and the property was quiet and off the grid. I was pretty surprised by the bathroom. I wish there were pictures of the camping toilet and “shower”. I think it was pretty misleading in the description.
Perfect little home on a big plot of land. Beautiful days and nights and a great break from stress at work. We loved the outdoor shower system. I think our dog enjoyed the stay more than we did. Just don't touch the fence, that kinda hurt.
The chemical toilet was leaking and the shower was a water hose connected to a rain barrel. There is no running water in the cabin that is really a shed with electricity. We left 8:00am on Saturday morning without a shower and grossed out by the urine on the floor of this outhouse that had a water hose for a shower.

The description and pictures of the property was 100% accurate. We loved how quiet and private it was. It was clean and had most of your needs right there. Being off grid was nice for a change. We would definitely stay again.

The location was very good, close to Stone Mtn. and relatively close to Elkin. The photos showed a picture of a TV and a good selection of dvd’s.However, the TV wouldn’t work because there was no HDMI cord. What a disappointment when we had decided to watch a movie on one of our nights there. Also, we knew the shower was outside, but it would have been nice to have at least warm water. A cold shower isn’t the way we like to start our day. My husband braved it, but I had to pass. The cleanliness of the place was fair.
Last minute trip that didn’t disappoint. The place was very clean and well decorated. If you can get over the bathroom situation, which was still pleasantly surprising; then this is a great spot for a night or two. Get back to the basics! I would definitely stay again!
I stayed here on my motorcycle as I was riding the Blue Ridge Parkway down to Cherokee. The stay was pleasant and clean. Accurate pictures and wonderful area.
Everything was perfect and just as listed. It was so quiet and peaceful. It really is a "stargazing" cabin, as the stars are amazing to look at when night comes. Would definitely recommend!
Delightful home to stay in. Just minutes from Stone Mountain and close to Doughton Recreation Area. So many thoughtful touches that make the stay just perfect. Enjoyed having some time to disconnect and enjoy the stars. A little slice of paradise! Highly recommend!
We had a fantastic time at the tiny house! The property is beautiful, the decor and lighting are super cute, and it's very well thought out. There's beautiful sunset views and amazing views of the stars!
A great place for peace and quiet, away from technology and the city life,we really enjoyed the time we spent sitting around the fire, having a couple drinks under the stars,it was amazing,we spent 3 days and we will definitely be back, the host was quick to respond back to any questions we had and helped in any way, thanks for letting us stay in your cute little cabin ❤️
Everything was as described, but it was hot when we came in and there was no AC and no wi fi signal to contact owner. Fortunately we got a cross breeze from the windows which helped immensely.
Great property close to hiking at Stone Mt and a winery tour!
The place is very private especially the deck out back with the grill. I loved the area. All country and acres around the house. Beautiful. The tiny house had everything a person could want or need. They had plenty of water, dishes, glassware, silverware, mini freezer/refrigerator, coffee (Keurig), sugar, etc. They had games and puzzles and a sweeper vacuum, and plenty of DVD movies I really enjoyed. Now they have an outdoor shower with hot water and shampoo and soap dispenser! Towels provided too. And they provide plenty of wood for the firepit. My dog loved the yard. The bed was comfy too.I am so glad I didn't go camping as it was hot and humid and their air conditioner was wonderful. The second night I was there, they had a torrential downpour for over an hour. It was like a waterfall! If I camped out, it would have been a disaster.BTW, Stone Mountain waterfall has 300 steps.I recommend going to the Raffaldini Vineyard as it is beautiful and looks just like you're in Italy.I highly and wholeheartedly recommend staying in their tiny house.
My daughter and I stayed at this property. We loved it! It is nicely decorated and the owner has thought of everything to make your stay convenient. I am not sure this would apply to all cell users but Verizon users will not have a signal there. That was not an issue for us. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. We would definitely stay here again.
With the simple off the grid tiny house; I really connected with nature, and my God. The beautiful countryside with a beautiful stream that runs through the property is very peaceful. The skies are clear blue with thousands of twinkling stars. I slept great from the clean country air, and I couldn’t wait to get back, after a day in town. Lin and Randy are awesome host’s. They will be there to meet your every need. Enjoy the peace and tranquility of this very special spot.
The property was beautiful and we saw a lovely light show by all the lightning bugs or fireflys that night. The house was very cute but there was no light in the outside bathroom when we went at 4 am the next morning makin it difficult to see,
