Was in town for the Rose Bowl and was lucky to find this host/apartment at a very reasonable rate!The host was great at contact and quick replies when I had questions. Not sure if it was message timing, but check-out details were sent after I'd already left - but I mostly had done what was asked there. The apartment was clean and nice overall accommodations. It did have a pretty overpowering scent of the air fresheners, which we unplugged during our stay but this wasn't enough of an issue to negatively impact the review!

Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
Unsafe. Left early. There was a gas leak that the building manager “couldn’t smell”. We had to call the gas company ourselves. They detected the leak and turned the gas off at the meter. There were no smoke detectors or a carbon monoxide alarm. The refrigerator broke early in our stay resulting in spoiled food. Host has refused any compensation.

Thank you for your feedback. Guest safety and comfort are very important to us. The property was inspected before arrival and was in working condition. When concerns were reported during the stay, we responded promptly and arranged repairs as needed. The refrigerator issue was repaired, the gas odor concern was inspected and resolved by professionals the same day, and the carbon monoxide detector concern was addressed. We do not agree with the full details of this review, but all reported issues were taken seriously and have since been resolved. Csquare Property Services Team
