Kelvin was really great and helpful in communicating check-in and out procedures. A lot of thoughtful touches in the kitchen and bathroom with one of the best selections of toiletries. The apartment has a bit more wear than shown in the pictures, but it is an altogether fantastic place and a great location.

About the host

Hosted by Kelvin Dickson

Host profile image
Hey there — I’m Kelvin, born and raised right here in Pasadena! 🌴 When I’m not hosting guests, I’m probably somewhere chasing birdies on a golf course — whether that’s here in California or halfway across the world. Golf’s my escape, but hospitality is my heartbeat.

I started hosting because I love connecting with people and showing them how great Pasadena really is — from the small-town charm of Old Town to the big-time events at the Rose Bowl. I take pride in keeping my space super clean, stylish, and welcoming — a spot where you can relax like a local, not just crash for the night.

If you need food or drink recs, I’ve probably tried every place within walking distance (for research, of course). 😎

Why they chose this property

Old Town Pasadena is the crown jewel of the city — and I mean everything is here. Two blocks out the door and you’ve got rooftop bars, boutiques, cafés, wine spots, nail salons, grocery stores, and The Paseo shopping center. It’s walkable, vibrant, and full of life from morning coffee runs to late-night laughs.

Plus, you’re just a short stroll or 5-minute drive to the iconic Rose Bowl — home to concerts, games, and weekend flea markets. Whether you’re here to explore, eat, shop, or unwind, this neighborhood makes it effortless.

I chose this area because it’s the heartbeat of Pasadena — where locals and visitors blend together, and every block has a story (or at least a good cocktail). 🍸

What makes this property unique

It’s the perfect mix of resort vibes and city convenience. My building has two incredible lounges — one with a pool table, shuffleboard, and big-screen TVs, and another by the pool with ping-pong and chill seating. You’ll also find a sparkling pool and spa, rooftop decks with mountain views, multiple BBQ grills, a full business center, and even a private dog walk for your four-legged guest. 🐾

Inside the unit, everything’s designed for comfort and ease — whether you’re winding down after exploring Old Town or getting ready for a day at the Rose Bowl.

The real magic though? Location. You can park the car and forget it. Everything you need — from tacos to Thai food to Target — is within walking distance. It’s modern living with a laid-back Pasadena twist.
