Perfect peaceful getaway

This was the perfect end-of-Summer getaway. The house was charming, clean, and had literally everything we needed to relax and play on the lake. My kids loved the kayaks and our visits to the sandy beach and diving platform nearby. We fished from the paddleboat several times a day and caught panfish, perch, northern and bass. We enjoyed quiet time reading on the deck and the internet was great for movie nights. Everything was great and we hope to be back.

Family weekend

Everything was as described. Property was nice and private. The house was very clean and neat. We had everything we needed to have a fun and relaxing weekend with our family. Highly recommend.

Outdoor opportunities are endless. Historic Osage Swimming Beach: - This beach is where multiple generations of kids have been making summertime memories in the sandy swim area and the swim platform. - There might even be an old-school rope-swing close by, which is a summertime must! - You can paddle around and relax on Lower Straight Lake without experiencing the busy boat traffic. The business in Osage are comprised of: - OBT (Osage Bait and Tackle) where you can grab a quick bite to eat, get a drink, fuel up, or pick up your fishing supplies. - Byers Liquor – a full-service Liquor store. - Byers Market – a full-service Grocery store.

The “Lake House” is located on a fabulous lakeshore lot on Straight Lake. It includes a wide-open view of lower Straight Lake, i.e., the "Mill Pond". - You can see across the lake to the historic Osage Swimming Beach. The “Lake House” has been recently outfitted with new Furniture, all new Beds & Bedding, and Kitchen supplies.
