About this property
Kingston Waterfront Marina Retreat w/ Boat Rentals
Rustic, authentic waterside escape. Located 90 miles north of NYC, in the Historic Kingston waterfront district.
Once a top producing Chris-Craft dealer. This converted marina workshop offers a waterfront experience with a shared firepit and picnic area.
Your stay includes a $40 voucher towards a boat or water sports rental.
Bring your boat, launch for free, and spend the weekend (dockage fee additional).
It is located in a marina under a historical train trestle that is still active.
The space
This is a rustic waterfront marina, with an active train trestle located above the property. The train runs consistently at various times throughout the day & night. The property is not luxurious. We make every effort to provide the basic necessities for a comfortable, safe, memorable experience.
It's important to note that the converted workshop apartment has its own quirks.
With the exception of the kitchen and bathroom. There is no overhead lighting. You will find floor lamps conveniently placed throughout the apartment.
You will also notice that you have to step up into the shower.
If you can appreciate the character and rustic appeal. You'll have an experience of a lifetime. In the midst of the sounds and sensory overload. You will find this unique state of tranquility by the water.
Guest access
* You will have access to the picnic area. Which includes a firepit and charcoal grill.
* (Firewood & Charcoal not included)
Please be aware the picnic & firepit area is a common space open to the public and marina members.
* Due to safety and insurance liability. Please stay off the docks if you are not actively launching or engaging in one of the watersports activities.
* Do not enter or board any boats. These are privately owned vessels
Other things to note
* The apartment is located underneath an active train trestle that operates consistently throughout the day and night
* We are located on an active marina. You may experience noise from motor boats on the creek and passing vehicles from the roadside.
* Limited cooking ability. The electric stove is on the older side and takes a while to heat up.
* Smart TV - You will need to log into your personal accounts to access your preferred streaming services.
