Stay and relax at our brand-new beautifully appointed beach house located on a quiet cul-de-sac on the west end of the island. Launch your kayak or boat in the beautiful Davis Canal only 100 feet from the house. The Davis Canal connects to the Intracoastal and the Atlantica Ocean via Lockwood Folly. A quick 2 block walk to the ocean beach access. No need to secure a parking pass to park at the beach. The kitchen has many upgrades. Kitchen island seats 3 with additional seating for 8 in dining room. Upstairs great room is spacious with two full size sofas and two chairs. Vaulted ceilings create a dramatic environment to enjoy relaxing while reading, watching TV or spending time with family and friends playing games. Additional den with TV downstairs. Primary bedroom on the top floor has canal and sunset views. Primary bathroom has a large shower and double sinks. The home has four full size, covered decks. Front deck has sunrise and sunset views while back upper deck has an ocean view overlooking the pool. The pool deck is beautifully landscaped and has 6 lounge chairs and 3 umbrellas. Enjoy the outdoor shower and dressing area. Outstanding Vacation Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at DreamWaver! This new home is spectacular - sparkling clean and equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our beach vacation. The beach is so close - an easy/quick walk, lovely and not crowded. The neighborhood is quiet with many year round residents were who so kind and helpful.

Immaculate and perfect for a big family!

I work in hospitality and was blown away with how considerate the host was with early communications and making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The house was perfect for our blended family of six adults, one teen and one under 2. The house and pool are immaculate and the location can’t be beat with walking distance to the beach and a boat ramp that we easily put in our personal kayaks. It was the best place to be to view 4th of July fireworks across Cape Fear too. We will definitely be back!

Great Family Vacation

The property was amazing, great layout for 8 adults. Plenty of seating in family room and dining area. The pool area with chairs and umbrellas was amazing and very close to the beach.Only concern would be the linens ordered from Sharon Linens were some of the lowest quality of sheets and towels I have used. The sheets were very thin and rough. I would recommend another option if available.

Family Vacation

This is a wonderful property for a family vacation, and it is just steps to the beach. The house has all of the comforts of home. The owner is very helpful and quick to answer any questions. It was very nice to relax by the pool after a day at the beach. I would highly recommend this property and would rent again, if in the area.

Amazing House with Great Views

The house is brand new and there are plenty of amenities to enjoy the stay. The location is great on a nice cul-de-sac street with walking distance to the beach. It has great views of all balconies (especially great on July 4th to see fireworks). The pool was awesome and clean. We would recommend this to anyone and look forward to staying again here at another point.

Short family beach trip

Great new home with a pool just a block away from beach. Great location. The house has a super layout for a family with two tv areas and decks to relax outside. Host was incredible and very responsive. If you are going to Oak Island look at this house.

Perfect Getaway

Thanks Rich, for sharing your beautiful home with us. The layout for our family was perfect, with the Master upstairs with the living area, and privacy downstairs for our adult children. From the pool, to the outdoor shower, the grill, we had everything and more that we needed. The house is BEAUTIFULLY decorated to make it feel like a home, and we loved sitting in the balconies every morning with our coffee. One of the best things is the location. 2 short blocks to the beach, so we were able to easily go back and forth as needed. Very quiet area but only 10 minute drive to some great restaurants and a little night life. Perfect for our family getaway.

Perfect!

This property is brand new and clean. I would recommend this house to anyone! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook a meal. We had a short walk to the beach which was very beautiful and not crowded at all. The only thing missing was a broom, but a quick trip to the store remedied this! We enjoyed our stay throughly!!

Amazing Location, Quiet Street & Beautiful House

This property was exactly what my family and I wanted in a beach vacation - kayak launch nearby, quiet street not on the main drag but a very easy walk to the beach, brand new home with plenty of space for 6 adults and a baby. We loved having the pool in the backyard, and we enjoyed watching the sunsets over the cancel from the top front porch in the evenings. Everybody commented on how quiet the street we were on was and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay! Would highly recommend this property if you’re looking for a beach getaway. The host was also very accommodating, answering questions leading up to our stay and was very responsive during our stay. Five stars!

Perfect Place to Relax

This house was nice for our family of older kids (17-21). Three downstairs bedrooms with a master on the main. Great location for kayak loading into the canal nearby. You will not need a golfcart to go to the beach comfortably (very short walk), but I recommend a wagon/beach cart. This home is located on the more secluded end of the island so be prepared for a short drive to stores and restaurants. We loved how quiet it was in the neighborhood and the beach! It was the perfect place to relax from the real world and our kids loved the pool.

Family summer vacation

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this rental house! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house itself is clean and well-maintained, with all the amenities we could possibly need. But the highlight of our stay was definitely the pool! It was crystal clear, perfectly sized, and provided hours of fun and relaxation for our whole family to beat the heat. We spent countless hours lounging by the pool, enjoying the hot weather. The location is also fantastic, close to local restaurants and a short drive to the grocery store. With the beach a short walk away was nice and even better having a boat launch for the kayaks 100yards away. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

Beautiful property, amazing owner.

Look no further, you’ve found your forever vacation home with this property. The house itself is beautifully appointed, and has all the necessary features/amenities to make your stay feel like you’re at home. Having 3 king size bedrooms is a major plus. The pool was great and always in the sun in the afternoon each day. Such a very short walk to the beach and in a low traffic area of the island. Couldn’t ask for much more. Which leads me to Rich. One of the nicest and most understanding property owners I’ve ever dealt with. Always available to assist during our trip, and super fast to respond. We were there during the hurricane and he made it an unforgettable experience by how he handled things. You can’t control the weather when it comes to booking a trip, but when you’re dealing with Rich, he’s always looking out for you and your family. Will definitely come back.

Great stay!

If we could give six stars, we would. We spent a week with family - four adults and two children - at this house. It was a last-minute rental and we couldn’t be happier with the whole trip. First, the owner - Rich. He was wonderful. Super responsive and informative, from our questions ahead of committing to the end of the rental. While we were there, a small issue with a toilet occurred (it wouldn’t stop running). Rich had it fixed the next day! Second, the place. It’s brand new and so well appointed. From the grill to the cutting boards, this house had everything you’d need. The pool is perfect for lounging while you’re not on the beach (which is short two-block walk), and the bedrooms were spacious enough. The beds were also very comfortable. The decor is just lovely (we found ourselves google searching the chairs for our own house). Overall, if you’re looking for a clean and comfortable stay at Oak Island, with the luxury of a pool and short walk to the beach, this is it! We’ll definitely be coming back.
