❥ You have access to the entire unit and the backyard. You may see us outside taking out dog Jackson out on occasion and we're glad to coordinate so we don't cross paths if you prefer.
❥ If we are in the basement apartment, we are very respectful of your experience and keep to ourselves.
❥ No mail to the house please. Deliveries are welcome and come to the front door.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
❥ Owners onsite in the basement unit which is separate and private from the upstairs unit. If your party has interest in renting out this unit, let us know as it sleeps an additional 2 people.
❥ Our dog Jackson stays with us in the basement apartment and may be seen or heard on occasion. If you meet him, he may bark and he has been known to “talk” or even howl quietly when alone. (He is rarely left alone) It’s rare and it’s pretty cute when it happens. - his nickname is "Sheriff"! He's well behaved, and we are responsible dog owners.
❥ You may see us, along with Jackson, our dog, in the yard occasionally.
❥ Dedicated private office available upon request for no extra charge. Note that I use the office when guests are not staying in the unit and it contains my personal belongings. Must be requested upon booking. Otherwise it is locked off.
❥ We will park in the driveway if space allows, otherwise all 3 spaces are yours if you need them.
❥ All original art is for sale- just inquire.
❥ Art has sharp edges and the home may not be suitable for small children
❥ AC doesn’t go below 70, we have a window AC and fan in the primary bedroom to assist.
❥ We unfortunately cannot accommodate late checkout due to our cleaning schedule.
❥ The mailbox is not available for guest use. Deliveries are welcome.
❥ We provide starter toiletries and paper supplies. Guests are responsible for their own supplies thereafter.
❥ For stays over 10 days there is an additional $140 cleaning fee that will be requested the week of your reservation.

We’ve had fun remodeling our home w/a unique & fun decor!
Our guests enjoy the sun drenched main floor & 3 bedrooms upstairs w/ the cozy outdoor space as well.
When we’re not traveling, Rocky, Jackson & myself are staying in the fully furnished basement apartment on site -w/it’s own entrance and driveway.
Come & enjoy our space and find yourself again in our art inspired home!
Why they chose this property
This is our home in a quiet, residential neighborhood in the foothills of the Rockies.
We are 11 minutes from Red Rocks, 25 minutes from downtown Denver, 60 minutes from Summit County- there are SO many fantastic biking and hiking trails right close by as well!
What makes this property unique
1. There's an artist’s studio & you have access when Rocky is here & the door is open!
Watch him create OR book a private experience and create a one of kind piece!
(YOU choose your level of participation- so NO pressure!)
2. We're in the basement apartment w/its own entrance and driveway and we keep to ourselves.
If our dog Jackson meets you, he'll bark and then he'll "talk" to you as he's a medium size Blue Healer/Husky mix so they TALK!).
Jackson may be seen in the backyard for a quick visit AS NEEDED - we pick up after him ASAP - once again, to respect your privacy.
3. We keep personal belongings to a minimum. We have one wall of personal pictures on the main floor-
(As newer hosts, we're open to feedback so no need to leave a negative review- let us know what you think- your opinion matters!)
4. There is a funky cool & well-equipped kitchen, w/an island that seats 6 w/ a colorful and inviting sitting area right next to it. Our dining room table seats 4 and extends to 8!
There are 3 bedrooms upstairs, one with an en suite bathroom and another full bath upstairs.
-Bedroom 1- offers a comfortable king bed w/fresh linens w/an en suite open double vanity and separate tiled shower.
-Bedroom 2- offers a queen bed w/cozy bedding. Mellow yellow is the feel here!
-Bedroom 3 is Moroccan themed room- w/ a twin-size trundle bed (w/2 very comfortable twin mattresses).
**The full bed in is "raised" w/a 24" clearance/accessible by a short ladder- perfect for nimble adults. This is where you'll find luggage racks/hangers. This is a great place to store your luggage too.
5. Our backyard offers comfy couches seating 8 people circled around a gas fire pit w/solar lighting for the perfect evening sharing together!
(DON'T leave the umbrellas "up" unattended as the wind can pick up and cause damage and we'll have to ask that you reimburse for damages accordingly.)
6. Our home has outside (only) security cameras & NO cameras inside.
