TheBeachRenter® is known for our extra clean rentals. We are being extremely intentional with our cleanings. We have eliminated all natural cleaners and implemented extra cleaning precautions per CDC guidelines that now also includes professional laundry services. This is still a Rent at Your Own Risk property. No matter the season antiviral wipes and sprays have and will continue to be standard in all our rentals for your peace of mind.
Our Tourmaline Beach Cottage is favorited by many guests for its proximity to San Diego's famous beaches, all things Pacific Beach, and of course beautiful sunsets! Our Tourmaline Beach Cottage is arguably the BEST "bang for your buck" - Centrally located to so much, yet away from it all.
Just 1 block from coffee shop, restaurants, bar and local shopping & 2 blocks for the famous "Tourmaline Surf Park." Tourmaline Surf Park is great for all ages and is where the locals go - grommet sized and up! Pacific Beach Pier is a half mile away and historic Belmont Park one mile, Mission Bay, and Sea World are all just minutes away. And don't forget the start of La Jolla is literally just around the bend.
Our Tourmaline Surfers' Cottage is a great place to relax after returning from a long day at the beach or sightseeing. With 3 bedrooms (sleeps 8), 1 bath, this beach cottage is perfect for any family, group of friends, or couple looking to unwind. Recently updated with all new linens, new queen sleeper couch, plus a fully stocked kitchen that even includes an Instant Pot & an Amazon Alexa. Imagine a peaceful dinner in "Sunny San Diego" in your private backyard and the saltwater air. The property has outdoor Adirondack chairs with a fire pit table, picnic style dining table, and a propane gas BBQ. Follow your evening up with watching sunset from the front yard or take a stroll to the end of the street for a sunset on the ocean, or how about a bay cruise on the famous Bahia Belle with music. The options are endless all within blocks.
There is a private (no coin) onsite laundry room with washer/ dryer - Free for your use are 4 beach chairs, 8 beach towels, 1 cooler, 2 boogie boards and sand toys.

There is another unit on property behind cottage - No shared walls. Units each have their own private backyards, they do share one common fence. It is possible to hear each other when both outside. We do ask guests to keep noise to reasonable levels and do have strict quiet hours (9pm-9am).
• This cottage has NO Air Conditioning - Every room has a Ceiling Fan + 3 Standing Fans.
• Occupancy cannot exceed more than 6 adults, and up to 8 with children
• Smoking & Pets are not permitted anywhere on the property indoor or outdoor
• 30-day rentals welcomed | No TOT Tax on 31 nights
