Lake Lure Mountain Bungalow - Pet Friendly. Cozy home with fenced in yard!

Our cozy Lake Lure Mountain bungalow has everything you will need for a relaxing vacation. The front porch has rocking chairs and antique metal chairs to enjoy fresh air. The back porch also has rocking chairs and provides seclusion from any neighbors. Minutes away from the Lake Lure beach area, the Tryon International Equestrian Center, and Chimney Rock, the area is known for hiking, swimming, boating, etc. (Lake Lure is where Dirty Dancing was filmed and Bat Cave is where The Last of the Mohicans was filmed.) Chimney Rock offers lots of gift shops and eateries where you can grab your souvenirs. Your fur babies are welcome at our home for a small fee as the yard is completely fenced in with a lockable gate for added security. There is some Highway 9 Lake Lure traffic noise but box fans are available to help. Also included is a stackable washer/dryer with detergent so that you can wash your clothes before you head home! The kitchen includes all the paper products you should need in addition to cleaning supplies. Also glass dishes, coffee mugs, glasses, silverware, blender, crock pot, toaster, mixer are provided. The living room has very comfortable sofa and oversized recliner. The sofa also reclines on both sides. We have been told that our home is the most comfortable they have ever staying in. It's just a relaxing place to be. Flat screen tv's are in the living room and each bedroom. A WII game system is available with at least 25 games including the exercise board, plastic rifle for hunting game. Coffee makers are available with regular coffee and pods included. Beach towels and sand chairs are also available. We also provide corn hole boards and bags and lots of board games. If you've never visited the Lake Lure area, I have included some pictures of the beautiful mountain and lake scenery. Brochures are available on the desk with information about the area including the wonderful restaurants. An Ingles grocery store and Dollar General are about 1/2 mile toward Lake Lure. Our internet is with Hughesnet. As we are in the mountains, tv watching is good. For any type computer work it won't be the fastest if you are planning on doing a lot of work.. great news though, Spectrum will be in our area very soon! Please contact me if you have any questions.
