About the host
Hosted by Raygan Ketterer
We're Raygan and Jason Ketterer, we live here on the property with our two kids and black lab. We love gardening and enjoying the outdoors. We own a shop downtown called Le Monkey House and Jason works for the Federal Government.
Why they chose this property
Our property is right downtown and perfectly located to walk to restaurants, and shops.
What makes this property unique
The main house was built in 1867 and is one of the oldest homes in downtown Culpeper, it was once flagged to be demolished in the 90's for the expansion of East St, but was purchased from the town for $1 with the promise that the purchaser would pay to have it moved back from the road. It now sits on a new foundation and has had multiple additions and renovations since. The cottage sits next to the train tracks and offers a unique experience for guests to enjoy a piece of (beautifully renovated) history.
