About the host
Hosted by Jen Lamb
I was born and raised here in Madison County, and we've traced my family back at least 6 generations here. I guess you could say my roots are planted firm and deep, as I love traveling but don't ever plan to leave!
Why they chose this property
Though I've lived in the county my entire life, I had no idea this house was even back here until I saw a real estate listing for it in about 2015. I wasn't in a position to buy it then, but I fell in love with it, and lucked out when it came back on the market in 2019, at which time I was ready to snatch it up! I love that it's very secluded, yet only 3 miles from town.
What makes this property unique
I may be a little biased, but to me, this property is our little piece of heaven. My boys have plenty of room to run and play, whether it be swinging in one of the tree swings, running thru the yard with the dog or playing in the creek, not to mention the pool in the summer! And I love the fact that it feels like you're in the middle of nowhere but we're only about a mile and a half from 7-11!
