The place was great! They were ready for us to check in a little early which was nice. There is lots of close overflow parking too. One of the toilets wouldn’t flush but they answered the phone right away and fixed it in the morning. It’s really nice to be able to fish right out the back door and to be able to put in our kayaks right there. There was a lot of rain and storms while we were there and the roof leaked a little in the living room and one of the bedrooms. Not enough to impact our stay though. We saw dolphin every morning right in front. The wall of windows overlooking the canal is great. Pretty cool!

Thank you so much for the thoughtful review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the property and were able to take advantage of the fishing, kayaking, and those beautiful canal views. Seeing dolphins right outside in the mornings is always such a fun bonus. We’re also happy we could get you checked in a little early and quickly help with the toilet issue during your stay. Our team always wants to get guests back to enjoying vacation as fast as possible. We do apologize for the roof leaks during the heavy storms. With the amount of rain that came through, we appreciate you letting us know so we can report this to the HOA. Thank you again for staying with us, and we’d love to welcome you back again for another waterfront getaway soon!

Lovely condo with breath-taking views. Only issue was that the roof leaked on us in the main bedroom with the coastal storms but Padre Escapes was quick to reply and provide replacement bedding. Regardless, we would stay here again!

Padre Vacation

The condo was very nice. Beds were a little too hard for us but was ok. We enjoyed having a dock right in our back door but no fish sadly. Enjoyed the pool. Laundrymat was a little pricey. Location was near to everything. That was a plus

This was a great place to gather with family and friends for a month. The warm weather was a bonus. We had plenty of room for big meals and games when we weren’t fishing. The catch wasn’t always great but that’s why it’s called fishing. We would definitely return if the availability meets our schedule. Looking forward to a return trip.

Perfect place for relaxation

Immediately noticed how clean and well equipped this house was. The rooms were clean and large with plenty of place for your belongings. The kitchen and gathering areas were large and roomy. The dining area had a large table which was perfect for our family as we love to play board games. The views were amazing and we loved sitting down by the water and fished every evening. The complex was quiet and tidy. We did enjoy the pool as well. Overall the stay was near perfect and we stay a lot of places.

Water Paradise

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful and sparkly condo right on the water minutes away from the sandy beach. My favorite were all the windows facing the canal ,I loved seeing the water steadily flowing by in a gentle flow and the occasional small boats and canoes. I felt very happy to surprise my family with such a magical place. My most precious moment was the last evening shared with my elderly sister sitting in the patio by the water watching and taking pictures of the magical sunset. PS: there was plenty of parking spaces. Thank you to Heather and the entire home team for their gracious support and assistance.

Great place for an extended family trip!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location; very clean unit; comfortable beds; exceptional customer service from the staff; the only complaint is the community pool.... Filthy on Sunday of our stay, we had chosen to stay off the beach that day to enjoy the nice pool; we spent the first 30 minutes cleaning the skum floating on top of the water; pool water smelled like urine; looked like someone may have thrown up in the water. Very disappointing pool experience!

Response from VrboOwner on 5 Sept, 2024

Thank you for your review, Tracy. We are always looking for feedback so that we can continue to improve and grow. We will pass this information along to our maintenance department to ensure it is addressed in a timely manner. Padre Escapes certainly hopes to host you again in the future!
