Perfect lake getaway!!!

We stayed with friends (two families total, each with young kids) for a long weekend. It was absolutely perfect. The house is gorgeous and comfortable, well-appointed and with space for everyone. The dock is amazing, and the views cannot be beat. It was a perfect escape. We can’t wait to come back!

Perfect Lake Retreat

We had the most amazing week at On The Rocks. The house is in a quiet cove with the most beautiful views of Smith Mountain. The house is very well set up for an entire family, it is clean, comfortable beds, great kitchen, and an amazing dock with all the toys to entertain . The hosts were very responsive with questions we had and made our stay easy. This is the perfect vacation spot! Looking forward to next year and coming back.

Lake Living at its best!

Our stay at On The Rocks was exactly what this family needed! The home is beautiful, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked and the boat house/dock is perfect for everyone to hang out and jump in the water. The weather was hot during our stay and the water was beautiful! Clean, refreshing and very floatable. We had some fisherman in the group who were catching fish from the dock, while our bathing beauties were floating in the crystal clear water. There were so many great spaces to hang out and enjoy the lake life for a week. Having the extra space on the boat dock to tie up the boat rental for a few days was very convenient. We were already talking about coming back to On the Rocks before we even left. The host is extremely responsive and helpful. Thanks for a great stay!

Loved the house

This house was somewhat smaller than we have rented before. It used every bit of its space wonderfully. The outside and dock area was the best. It's everything we could want. Also I had a few questions for the owners and they got back to me right away. They were so good to work with. We were so pleased we are renting it again next year!
