Disappointed that it was not as nice as expected. Didn't feel welcoming. House needed plumbing repairs, could not use sinks in master suite, tub had to be scrubbed, promised gameroom was locked, trails difficult with down trees, listing 5 bedrooms were misleading, firepit full of trash. Appeared no one had checked the property recently.
We stayed at this beautiful home for our daughter’s wedding, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect setting. The property provided such a peaceful and elegant backdrop for a day we’ll remember forever. Every room was just as pictured—spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. It truly felt like a home away from home and made our weekend so special.Anytime we had a question, the host was quick to respond and incredibly helpful, which made the entire experience even smoother. The only small issue we noticed was that it took quite a while for the water to get hot in the showers and sinks, but it was minor compared to everything else this wonderful property offered. We’re so grateful to have found this place for such a meaningful occasion and would absolutely recommend it to others.
We had a great time at Brand New. The rooms are huge with plenty of bathrooms. It's big enough that 12 people don't have to be on top of each other. We'll stay here again.
All our guest were really amazed with the place and it was the best choice we made with our stay and I highly recommend it. It has two living spaces which accommodated all the people we came with. The game room was also big and had a number of games.
Our stay was fantastic. We were in town for our golf state tournament, which was being held at the RTJ - The Shoals. It wasn't a bad drive to the course or downtown Florence for meals. There was plenty of room for all the players and coaches, and we had a wonderful experience. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to others.
My husband and I were looking for a place not too far from our North Mississippi home. My husband came across this beautiful home during his search. It’s way too big for just the two of us, but we decided what the heck! We could not have asked for a more perfect location. The property is secluded and so peaceful! The nature trail was fun for something different, and we were able to bring our boat and make use of the property’s ramp. We will definitely keep this property on our list of favorites and plan to come back with friends next spring and summer.
Stayed here with a group of friends for a long weekend because we were going off roading at Hawk Pride Mountain up the street. So location for that is pretty much perfect. Really dont have anything bad so say about this place! It was huge, roomy, comfortable, and welcoming. The property manager is great, responds to messages very quickly. The address doesnt really jive on any map app you may use to get there but they give you detailed instructions when you book it.
There are multiple thermostats so it took a night to figure out what controlled what, as all the bedrooms were hot boxes the first night haha.
Would definitely stay here again
Overall great experience at this house. Super clean and spacious. The only recommendation I would have is to have more cookware. Otherwise, the inside was great. The only thing on the outside would be to have the leaves removed so you can see where you're walking.Lol
Fall clean- up :) I know someone who can help you.
This home is a beautifully restored older home with so much charm. The wooded property is beautiful and we loved the extra touch with marked walking trails. The home is located at the corner of Little Bear Creek and Pickwick Lake. Home is easily assessable by boat on the creek side. We enjoyed swimming, fishing and boating right off the property.
13 of us came for a long weekend and the home fit us perfectly. Good linens and lots of extra blankets. Kitchen had everything needed to cook all our meals with a regular coffee maker with a reusable filter and plenty of dishes for our large crew. We will be back!

Thank you for taking the time to write such a kind and detailed review. It is wonderful to hear that your group had a great visit. As we were preparing the property for eventual guests, it was our sincere wish that people would enjoy the setting and have great fun. We are thrilled to receive your happy feedback.
Overall it was a beautiful home, well kept. Absolutely would stay again! My family was able to spread out throughout the property and the house as well. Owners very responsive listing stated the home had a crib upon arrival there was no crib. Contact the owners it was at the door with in a couple of hours. Things that need work, the Game room had no AC, which did hinder my teens from having some activities. Internet was weak, but I don’t think this is something that can fix due to the location of the property and all the beautiful trees. Maybe some DVDs to play on the TV. The biggest complaint for us was to have family size pots and pans to cook with. All there was small saucepans and small frying pans. I didn’t contact the owners that time because it was quicker to run to Walmart to grab larger pans to cook with for the week. Overall we had an absolutely wonderful time exploring Alabama!
“BRAND NEW” was advertised. It was far from New of any sort. The house was a 1990 quick fluff and buff. Two bath tubs had holes so the children couldn’t have a bath. One bathroom had no hot water the entire visit. We were from out of town for my son’s wedding. The bath tub in the master suite was dirty, cabinet doors throughout the property were hanging on with one screw, the outside deck had planks missing and rot throughout. The deck was hazardous at best. We called and texted the property agent and were given the excuse that the last guests were horrible. We sent pictures of everything to the property agent and she sent someone the next day to only caulk quarter size holes in the two tubs. She begrudgingly texted stating she would give a small refund but we never heard from her again. $600 a night for what was advertised as a brand new luxury home where we planned to have wedding photos done became a mediocre and hazardous place to lay our head. With the activities of a wedding happening we made due but were misled with false advertisement and gouged with the price based on what the actual property was. I will voice my concern for people to stay away.
