The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please do not leave a sink full of dirty dishes or bags of garbage in the kitchen, we have ample space for you in the bins located just outside the 1st floor entrance.
Please return the elevator to the 2nd floor with the gate and doors fully closed. This allows for it to be called to up or down, and avoids water damage from storms if it's left on the ground floor,
Please leave all ceiling fans on and bedroom doors open for maximum air circulation.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Children are not permitted to use elevator unattended. Misuse or damage are subject to fines and cost of any repairs.
6 night min - 13 night MAX stay per HOA rules for all renters. 5 car max - all other cars must park in public street parking. 4 extra day guests only

Elizabeth is a wonderful caring and professional host!The home is clean and comfortable, kitchen has everything you need to prepare your meals, plenty pots and pans, mixing bowls and utensils. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms clean and stocked with fresh towels.Wonderful beachfront house and relaxing location.We had such a wonderful relaxing vacation.Can’t wait to come back to this home!

The size of the house was very accommodating to our family. I gave the cleanliness of the interior of the house one star and that was being generous.Location and size …..great. Will not consider renting again due to the lack of cleanliness (dirty) of the interior.

Perfect for the family

We rent beach houses for our family every year in Galveston and this one was perfectly located on the West end which we prefer when staying on the island. This house was very spacious and fit our family perfectly. It is rare to have more than one en suite and an elevator which my elderly mother-in-law was grateful for. This was also a first for us to have a house with a front porch in addition to a massive beachfront deck and it was very appreciated as we had a couple of windy days where the little ones liked being out of the wind. The house is lovely and we enjoyed time together thanks to having a perfect place to stay. Thank you.

Location and size of the house were great for our family vacation. The cleanliness and condition of the furnishings was poor. We were given specific instructions before the visit to not turn the AC below 76 degrees unless we paid an additional 225. We paid it and discovered when we arrived that the upstairs unit would not cool below 77 degrees. We contacted the property manager Elizabeth and it was replaced quickly. Elizabeth was awesome!The gas grill on the upper deck is rusted beyond use and we used a charcoal grill that was probably purchased by a previous renter who felt the same way. Also the beds were so uncomfortable that we left a day early.We will not rent the property again.

The house was large, had perfect access to the beach, and had a gorgeous view. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for our family gathering. It was however not as clean as I had hoped it would be. Many of the items in he kitchen were not clean when taken out to use. We also found trash stuffed in some of the drawers. There were several light bulbs that needed to be replaced and we were sent bulbs via Amazon to replace them. There was also a door handle broken off and one of the deck doors in an upstairs bedroom. Just a tip to anyone staying at the beach, do not leave anything on the beach often dusk! It will be picked up by the city and destroyed. We had a great time during there were just some things that needed attention.

Best House and Beach on Texas Coast

This house was absolutely fabulous. We go to the beach each summer around the 4th of July and so far all agree this was the best place we have ever stayed. We are 3 generations, from age 2 to 74. Three of the bedrooms are king with ensuites which all the grownups like. The kids loved the bunk room and the playroom. There are two living rooms, one for tv and one for just visiting and reading. For those that need it the elevator is handy. The beach feels so private. Besides the neighbors and early morning walkers, you have the beach to yourselves all day. The property manager immediately responded to any questions we had. We didn't really encounter any problems that needed to be solved. Loved this place and hope we can make it back next year.

Amazing holiday stay!

We truly enjoyed our 1-week stay at this beautiful home! The property was lovely and peaceful. The home was as described in the posting and perfect for our family holiday. Here are a few of the reasons why we hope to be back next year:1. Ocean/beach access couldn’t be beat. Each year we like to book a home on the west side of the island and this is definitely our favorite over the past 5 years. We appreciated the fact that this home had a yard and space between neighbors—very quiet. 2. Plenty of room to enjoy family and individual time. The beds were comfortable and everyone had a chance to find the mattress that was “just right” for them in terms of firm/softness3. Owner was very helpful and prompt with all communication4. Our family includes 2 with mobility needs (cane/walker). Until finding this property, we have always needed to choose between options (house ramp/elevator but view not as great, or peaceful location but difficult access to the beach/water). This home was perfect for EVERYONE. The dune walkover has 5 steps with handrails so everyone could be on the beach to watch the sunrise. The home has an easy step shower and furniture that is easy to maneuver around as well as sit in/stand up from. Although other visitors might not share similar needs/worries, it was such a relief for our family to find a vacation home that has these things when we know how limiting some spaces can be for those with mobility issues.
