Nearly backed up to state land, close to many Ausable river landings and livery’s, all sports lakes, horseback riding, and more! Lake Margarethe, Higgins Lake, Lake St. Helen, and Houghton Lake are all a short drive from the cabin.

The cabin is located on a sand private road.

We had such an amazing experience and felt at home in the cabin! We absolutely LOVED the fire pit and appreciated the communication from both Kyle and Nikki! We will definitely be back!

Perfect weekend getaway in the woods!

This home was beautifully renovated and very clean. It had everything we needed and with three bedrooms, we all slept amazing! Sits back in the woods with wildlife all around, quiet, peaceful and very relaxing. We would definitely come back 😀

Great stay

I brought my wife and 2 young kids here for a long weekend. The cabin was clean, updated and had everything we needed. We had warmer weather so we were able to use the outdoor fire which was a nice bonus. This place would be fun for a guys weekend or couples getaway! We enjoyed breakfast and a few dinners at some great local places!

Overall a good, spacious house for the price.We had an issue with the pool being pretty dirty when we arrived but it was eventually taken care of. Not sure why it wasn't cleaned the day of our arrival. There was also not enough wash rags available to take baths and showers when we arrived. We went out and bought our own. We were refunded but it's the inconvenience. One thing that's not really apparent from the pictures is the driveway is a pretty steep incline. This can be a dealbreaker for some with certain vehicles, it wasn't for us, but we wished it was made known before booking. Also, the house needs updated pots and pans, they're pretty bad. If you want to cook, better bring your own. Other than that, it fulfilled our needs for a clean, spacious place to lay our heads. Water pressure is a plus.
