The allure of Folly awaits you in this spacious upstairs flat. The nicely equipped kitchen includes a gas range/oven, large microwave, dishwasher, French door refrigerator/freezer and an eating bar for two views the living area for those quick bites. There is plenty of cabinet space along with a unique little cabinet exclusively for your beverages and an over-sized front loading washer/dryer. Spread out into the separate living/dining area’s double La-Z-Boy couches w/ ottomans or a recliner to relax; or dine in and play one of the board games in comfort at the table... After your done exploring Folly or visiting Charleston, which is only 15 minutes away; wind down and enjoy a night in with the new smart 65" HDTV/Blue Ray DVD. WIFI available. A king sized bed is in the master bedroom along with plenty of storage to nicely house all of your possessions. The 2nd bedroom although smaller in size has a queen sized bed along with providing ample storage as well. Rest assured, since both the mattresses and all the pillows are encased in allergy/bed bug protectors. The linens are freshly sanitized and the beds are already made upon your arrival along with bath towels. Flat screens are also available in both of the bedrooms. There is a quaint little screened in porch off the kitchen and a wrap around deck connecting the front and back doors. Our downstairs flat is a separate unit, SO PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF YOUR NEIGHBORS. There is a designated parking space in the front of the house with a city of FB sign for you to park upon your arrival. Please park with the flow, all tires off the road anywhere on the island.
YOU MUST BE 25 YEARS OLD TO RENT THIS PROPERTY. DURING CHECKOUT, PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE CONTRACT AND READ IT BEFORE CHECKING THE BOX. IT WILL ALSO BE AVAILABLE AGAIN IN YOUR 'PAID RECEIPT' E-MAIL COPY AS IT CONTAINS IMPORTANT RULES AND REGULATIONS. YOU CAN ACCESS IT AGAIN ANY TIME. Load the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Dishwasher, please rinse and load it; we will start it. Place used towels in the tub; hang up any wet/damp towels in the bathroom only. No need to strip beds or wash anything else. Trash to bin #2.
Please make certain that all personal items have been removed before exiting! We cannot be responsible, nor can we return any items left in the unit; therefore a second look is recommended here.
Adjust the air to cool 74 in summer, close all windows and doors. Check again the doors are locked for your protection as well as ours until the final inspection has been performed after check out.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
City of Folly Beach's newly implemented 2022 noise. The hours of 9PM until 8 AM is now a "NO LOUD NOISE" over a normal speaking voice tone .

This was such a great location for walking to the beach, Bert's store and local restaurants, and the owners stocked the unit with everything we could need, like beach chairs, family games and sugar for our coffee! The outdoor shower was amazing also so that we could rinse off after the beach.

Great VRBO! Just two blocks to beautiful Folly Beach, shopping, and restaurants. A quick 20 minutes to Charleston. The house was spotless and tastefully furnished; kitchen was well stocked with utensils, appliances, plates, etc.; linens were high quality; hostess was attentive via text and made sure all was well. This place was amazing. We loved the back yard, so nice to hang out and chat in the evenings. The kitchen was amazing and decorated so cute. The jacuzzi tub was a nice perk! Super soft and cozy beds as well, we all felt so at home. The spacious living area was fun to hang in at night and unwind with the huge TV. Close to everything; food, coffee and most importantly the beach.

This was an absolute great place to stay. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need. Very short walk to Folly Pier and Center street. Everything in Folly was easily accessible. Teresa checked on us a couple of times to make sure everything was going well. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone. The house was very clean and very nice. Will be coming back for sure!!

Fantastic stay and experience in Folly Beach

We had a great time in Folly Beach! This was our first time visiting the island and Teresa went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed! The property was more than spacious for my family of 3; it would comfortably accommodate 2 couples as well. Clean, comfortable, spacious, modern, easy check-in, very close to town and beaches…really everything you want in a vacation rental. 10/10 experience with this property!

Very clean, fresh, nicely furnished 2nd floor beach town apartment, everything needed except food is there. Grocery store 1 block. 2 blocks from the beach, 2 blocks from city center. Great old beach town feel. Stay here, you won't regret it. Love the town, clean nice beaches.

Absolutely Beautiful

I am honestly amazed with how good this property looked and felt! The atmosphere of the place was wonderful and every room was unique and very modern. The kitchen and bathroom were to die for! The owner was very friendly and easy to contact, and very quick to respond back with any questions we might have had. It was the best place we have rented to date and I wouldn't mind staying here every year for vacation.

This small, immaculately clean, well-equipped flat was a delight in every way! Wished we had planned to cook more in the wonderful kitchen! A surprising treat was the jacuzzi tub/shower and in warmer weather, the new outdoor shower will come in handy. The owner is personable and so helpful. I could go on and on! I will definitely return when we need a smaller place to stay that is within walking distance of Center Street and our favorite market, Bert's!

Fantastic Rental!

My husband, daughter and I stayed at Teresa’s upper flat for a long weekend and it was perfect for us! The space felt open, the kitchen has beautiful upgrades and the bed linens and bath towels provided were so clean and cozy. I’m usually dying to get back to my own bed after a vacation and I slept better here than at my house! Comfiest beds! The couches were also deep and cery comfy and I loved the couch covers since I know they’d be cleaned between guests. We are local to Charleston and my husband and I said multiple times throughout the weekend we would absolutely stay here again. Short walk into town, short walk to the beach - it’s the perfect place.

Great Folly House

This house is very clean and spacious. The proximity to the beach and restaurants is ideal. I timed the walked to the beach access and it was four minutes. Communication with Teresa was great. She contacted me several days before we checked in and was quick to respond when we had any questions.There are some stairs to get to the unit but wasn't a big deal for us. Parking at Folly could be difficult at times but fortunately there is a dedicated spot in front of the house. Overall a great property that matches the description.

Just Stupendous!

We stayed here as a family (with two younger daughters) in July. It was a perfect amount of space for the four of us and it felt fresh, tastefully decorated and equipped with modern appliances and amenities. It was quiet at night despite the convenient central location which was fantastic…just over a block away from a handy, hip corner market, a 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants, and equally close to the beach. Parking was right out in front and there were even beach chairs, umbrellas, and a few toys we could borrow. The manager was super friendly and responded quickly to any questions. Furthermore, considering the astronomical prices around Folly beach, this apartment was quite reasonable. We’ll definitely stay here again.

The best Folly rental we've found!

When we first stepped inside the door my husband said "Oh we'll be back to rent this one again!". This was stated again many times during our week there. Cooper Flats is beautifully decorated, clean, and so well maintained. You can tell that the owner, Teresa takes pride in the property. She was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any questions we had. She has provided everything you could imagine you'd need during your stay. (all the little touches are nice). The location is PERFECT, so close to the beach, Center Street, and our favorite little market "Berts"! Just can't say enough good things about this rental. We'll be going back to Cooper Flats for sure!

Native South Carolinians, growing up in Columbia and now living on Lake Murray, my husband and I have visited the beautiful beaches of our SC coast annually since we were small children. We continued that tradition with our 2 sons, who both attended the Citadel. We knew we would be spending more time in Charleston and we wanted to have a place close to the college and it had to be on FOLLY. We spend a lot of time there and have tried to make it a comfortable second home with most of the features we are accustom to having. We can only hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

We just love the location because we are truly walkable! You can even hear the ocean's roar from the house at night because you are only 250 steps from the 3rd street beach access. That’s only 2 short blocks from putting your toes into the sand. Then, you are also less than 2 regular blocks from all the action and great food in downtown Folly that is on and around Center Street. We are walkable, yet just far enough away to still be serene. As well, Bert’s 24 hour market is only half a block away, so park the car and forget it during your time here on Folly.

What makes this property unique

We just fell in love with the window wall in the living/dining area that floods the room with natural light. It is so beautiful gazing into the tree tops. The house is located on one of the highest areas on Folly so there are no worries during excessive rainfall.
