About this property

Large mountain home with stunning views of Georgetown Lake and Pintler Range

This mountain home with unobstructed panoramic views of Georgetown Lake and the Pintler Range sits on over 4 acres allowing for the peace and privacy nature has to offer. Whether you want to sit and enjoy the quiet, views, and wildlife or want to get out and play in the outdoors we offer it all. Our area offers year-round recreational opportunities such as boating, fishing in the many lakes and streams, hiking, biking, ATV trails, snowmobile trails, cross-country ski trails, downhill skiing at Discovery, and more. We are 20 miles from Old Works Golf course in Anaconda and 18 miles from Historic Philipsburg and Rock Creek. We are 3 miles from the boat launch at the lake and 6 miles from Discovery ski area and with National forest bordering the property access to trails and the backcountry are right outside your door. The home has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths on the main floor and 1 bedroom and full bath in the loft with beds to sleep 8. There is additional space in the loft area for an airbed or like. The vaulted Great room, kitchen and dining area have 3 rows of windows overlooking the lake below and the surrounding mountains and a stone gas fireplace to enjoy on those colder days and nights. The kitchen is fully stocked and has an oven, stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster oven, coffee maker. Additionally, there is a washer and dryer on the main level. The large deck has a large gas grill and an outdoor fire pit is only steps away. The garage in the lower level is used for storage of our personal items and equipment so there is no garage parking but plenty of outside parking for vehicles and trailers. There is designated pedestrian access through the garage including a small area for storage of your outdoor gear such as skis, bicycles, etc. We do our best to keep up with snow plowing for access (yours and ours) and recommend 4WD or AWD in the winter months. WI-FI WILL BE AVAILABLE BEGINNING IN NOVEMBER!

The location and accommodations were fabulous! The house easily slept our six adults while giving everyone privacy. The kitchen was well stocked and beds very comfortable. We were able to ski 3 days straight at Discovery which was only 10 minutes away. The absolute best feature is the view though...Montana beauty on display all day, every day!

Great gateway for Summer trip

The place was clean and had everything we needed, except WiFi, which was a problem for a few in our group that needed to stay connected… comfy bedrooms, clean bathrooms/kitchen. We played games, ate tasty meals and enjoyed fishing in/around Georgetown lake. Would definitely stay again! Thank you.

Spectacular Setting

The view from this home is absolutely beautiful. You look down on Georgetown Lake, which is flanked by mountain ranges. We had issues with travel because of a snow storm, and Laura was extremely accommodating by letting us shift our stay by a day. The home is very clean and comfortable. I definitely recommend this property.
