We had an excellent stay! The host was welcoming and answered questions very quickly. The apartment is very well equipped, had several updated items like smart TV and fireplace with special features and delivered everything else as described! I highly recommend this host and his apartment!

Great Stay. The front desk did not see our reservation at check-in but the host was quick to respond and the issue was corrected within 15 minutes. The condo was very clean, spacious, and in a good location right next to the soaring eagle lift. The mattress was way to firm for my liking, an upgrade to a more comfortable matress wod earn a 5 star rating.

Wonderful trip

Cant beat the soaring Eagle for cleanliness and convenience. The owner was great, and so was Erika at the front desk.

Soaring eagle penthouse room

Room was very nice. Great location...very clean...host was very responsive! Plenty of utensils...would definitely book again as a ski room..only thing needs addressed is very weak A/C....didn't really work...able to open windows to cool down at night...thanks again for a nice place.

We’ve stayed at Soaring eagle multiple times and this unit has great views and everything we needed for our stay. The pullout sofa was very comfortable for our teenage boys, will definitely stay again!

Ski getaway

Such a great place! Ski in and ski out in the truest sense. The place is very comfortable and has beautiful views. The owner and staff are very responsive. Proximity to the lift, ski rental (Elk River in the building), ski locker, underground parking were huge benefits. We will definitely be back!

Best place on the mountain

The customer service was excellent. Underground parking - fabulous. The fire in the lobby cozy. The views on unit 409 are as described and beautiful. Comfortable well maintained home.

Ski in/ Ski out

This place has spoiled us. Ski lockers are on the bottom level. You boot up and walk out the door and ski to the first run. Parking in the garage is also very convenient for loading/unloading and staying out of the weather. Great room with all needed amenities and beautiful view of the mountains. We will definitely be staying here again.

Great Experience

The apartment was exactly as described. It was very clean, had all the amenities that you can wish for in the kitchen and bathroom. The fireplace was updated and one of the TV's was a smartTV making it easy to stream our own streaming networks. The bed was super comfy and there were lots of extra blankets and pillows ready. Communication with owner was exceptional. I can highly recommend.

Just ok

SEL is the best condo building at snowshoe. We have stayed at the building many times. It’s great. This was the roughest unit we’ve stayed at in the building. Fairly worn out and stripped down. Owner clearly just has it for a rental. Dirty linens, burned out light bulbs, etc.

Great Ski in Ski out

We had a great stay at this location. Very clean little condo. Three hot tubs right on the side of the mountain. Beautiful views. The management staff is super responsive. Nice access right to the lift and some nice little runs or take the traverse right over to the main base of snowshoe. I would recommend bringing groceries if you plan to cook. That's what we did and I'm so glad because there is not grocery store near by.

Lodge was quiet and nice and convenient to the Soaring Eagle lift. Communication was lacking with use of lockers. The facility is located great for skiing; however, somewhat convenient in having to ride (sometimes a very crowded) bus to the center of the village.

Nice but odd as well. Huge bathroom with storage but didn’t find extra towels til last day in coffee table?! Also only 1 bar of soap? Also A bit loud as it’s close to elevators. Otherwise nice and well appointed

Stay somewhere else

We were disappointed with our accommodations as well as with the check in process. Had to go to several places to check in. Our accommodations were fairly adequate but the fireplace did not work. There was no overhead light in the bathroom and the shower drain was extremely slow flowing. The foldout couch was terrible to sleep on and some of the pillows were stained and looked disgusting. For the money we paid to stay there, it wasn’t worth it.

First time visitors to Snowshoe. This unit had a locker included for snow gear, we did not know we needed that. It was really handy. The unit was spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 youths. The only reason it was not a 5 star is the fireplace did not work and has not for some time. According to staff. This is something that you want when at a ski resort. Prioximty to slopes are great. Shuttle service to the village ran often and were courteous. Hot tubs and sauna were great after a day on the slopes. The staff at the Soaring Eagle were very nice and greeted us each time they saw us.

We love the Soaring Eagle complex with it's fantastic location & proximity to the slopes! This condo did not disappoint. It was cozy & clean. The bathroom and bedroom were super spacious for my husband and me. It would have been pretty tight had our 12 year old twins been much bigger. It wasn't ready until 5 (the scheduled check in was 4) but they were nice & apologetic about it. The parking garage is a great perk. Kitchen supplies were pretty lean with only 4 bowls, 4 plates, 4 mugs, etc. There was not a crockpot which was inconvenient. Overall we had a lovely time and would be delighted to return. Thank you!

Good location/poor check-in process

Great location. Underground parking is nice. The challenges you read about the check in process are accurate. Have to go to Allegany Springs lobby to check in. They didn’t have the reservation in their system. Had to call VRBO customer service. They resolved it. Key worked for the door but not the elevators or other access points in the building. Had to go to a different bldg to reprogram the keys. Place is otherwise nice and the prop mgr was quick to respond once we checked in.
