And yes, the Ahwatukee area is the best secret in the metro area for location and amenities, from restaurants, shopping and golfing to hiking the South Mountain park.
All of that gets eclipsed by the views from this gorgeous condo - from almost every room in the place you are rewarded with the lake right in front of your eyes.

First, about the Lakewood master plan community you’ll belong to: It has two intersecting lakes (you’ll be gazing at one of them) with four boat docks and three ramadas for picnicks - and a greenbelt for walks and grills for barbecues.
The resort style Portofino complex has two heated swimming pools with a spa each, a beautiful Clubhouse with a lounging area (open during the day where winter games and activities occur) the main pool with a gas bbq grill, a fitness center with workout equipment and a small private movie theater (you are super close to the clubhouse/main pool facilities). At the back of the property there’s a second workout facility with free weights - and a third spa.

The condo's great location is within walking distance to groceries at Fry’s and Trader Joe's and very close to Sprouts.
Surrounded by restaurants, movie theaters, tons of shops and 10 minutes from the Chandler Fashion Mall or Wild Horse Pass Casino and Phoenix Premium Outlets Mall.

Nearby is South Mountain Park, the largest city Park in the US and one of the largest urban parks in the world. There’s lots of Sonoran Desert trails for mountain biking (lots of biking!), horse riding and hiking. Being near the I-10/202 loop makes it super easy to get around everywhere. Explore the valley, make excursions to Sedona, Tombstone or the Grand Canyon.

Your place is a third floor condo rewarded with a balcony overlooking the lake where you’ll spend a lot of your time having your meals and watching the joggers.

Now for the condo: your living room has a comfy sectional sofa, a fireplace, a 55” flat screen TV equipped with a Roku Streaming stick (which includes basic cable TV during the high season of January, February and March) plus a ceiling fan for that cool Arizona feel.
The full kitchen - with granite countertops, stainless steel tile backsplash and under cabinets lighting is well stocked with all sorts of useful gadgets like 2 crock pots, a regular and a Keurig coffee maker (your choice!), a mini chopper (it is obligatory for you to make salsa while in AZ), a mixer, pie tins, etc. in case you get exhausted trying out all the restaurants and eateries around.
Your bedroom’s comfy queen bedroom set has lots of drawers and a walk in closet - and of course it includes linens (and pool towels).
Yes, the laundry is inside the unit with full size washer and dryer and there’s an iron and ironing board

The condo is personally cleaned by the owners using enhanced practices to ensure the best possible stay.

Water, sewer, garbage removal, electricity, WiFi internet and basic cable TV included during the peak season of December, January, February and March.
During the low season of April through November water, sewer, electricity and garbage removal are included (basic cable TV is optional and a separate charge).
