CASA PUMILIO: Family Vacation Home w/concierge service! Mountain, 5min to Beach.

Strategically located mountain side, 5min (3km) from the beach. Experience a clean, peaceful & private place, ideal to rest, spend some time with family, surf, eat, tan & visit all the extraordinary places that surround this area. Our home is very relaxed and quiet, but close enough to all the action. We own and manage Hotel Pumilio on a completely separate property right beside the house, which is quite convenient for our guests since we include daily housekeeping and they always have access to the staff for special request, to book transportation, tours, order breakfast or other meals, get spa treatments, and take advantage of the many services we offer at the hotel.

The property is surrounded by nature. Rooms are very spacious & there's an open common area with BBQ, ice machine and a fully equipped kitchen! The neighborhood is SUPER safe, and we have 24/7 security cameras (all in the outside/common areas). The hotel staff & security guards roam around the property sometimes .

We were here for a work stay. The kitchen and location were very nice. Everyone had a pleasant stay. The property was clean and very private. Great base to explore the area. The pool was nice and clean.

We stayed at Casa Pumilio with a large group of friends from Canada and had an amazing experience.The property was spotless, and the daily maid service (plus pool cleaning every morning) made it feel super well cared for. Coming home to fresh pool towels was so nice and we really appreciated it! We also hired a private chef and he was phenomenal, great with the kids, and left us with plenty of leftovers for the next day! The wildlife was such a fun bonus on the property...lots of iguanas around and even a monkey came by.The host was very communicative and helped organize transportation from San José, which made everything easy. Jaco is just a 5-minute drive, so definitely recommend renting a car.Would absolutely stay again!

This is our family’s vacation home, it's an ideal place to enjoy some quality time with your family or group of friends, we have enjoyed it a lot as a family, and actually still do!! Some years ago, my parents decided to build and manage Hotel Pumilio on a separate property, right next to the house. We didn’t plan this, but this turned out to be very convenient for most of our Airbnb guests, since they have access to the hotel concierge service staff and usually book their transportation, tours, massages on our spa, order meals and take advantage of many services we offer at the hotel. Why they chose this property

Our location is actually quite strategic!! In front of the forest, just 5min drive away from Jacó Beach. This is the nearest/nicest/most active beach town that you can go from Juan Santamaria International Airport, it is also the hub to many National Parks, Reserves and Beaches, so it's an ideal place places to get to know the country. There's a very nice and active town just 5min drive from our home, where you can walk, shop, and eat a wide variety of food from all price ranges. The most important marina (Los Sueños Marriott) is just a couple minute drive away and there's also a very nice golf court there. There are a bunch of beaches from 5 to 15min drive away from our home, etc.

What makes this property unique

The uniqueness of our place is that it is like 5min drive away from town, on the mountain side... So you get to enjoy the Jacó area, it’s day/night life and return to the privacy, peace and quiet of the mountain. We built it here because we think this location is absolutely magical, we call it our hidden gem! Also our home is located right next to Hotel Pumilio, which we also built and own, so you have the private house, pool and garden to yourself, with the comfort, convenience and safety that that the hotel offers.
